First, the shop smells AMAZING. They have a cute little consult room with a window into the decorating room, and you can watch kaleigh while she does her thing. I consulted with Debbe, the owner, who is sweet as can be. I explained the vibe of my wedding; romantic, glamorous, gold & burgundy. I sent debbe pictures of 2 different cakes and told her what i liked about both of them, and she created exactly what I wanted. And the mini cupcake samples are SO GOOD.

Kaleigh and Debbe were both so helpful in planning for our wedding. They met with us several times to talk over quantities, flavors, and options. We were so thrilled the day of our wedding with how everything turned out - we had a cutting cake, decorated cookies, and mini cupcakes. They also worked with us to provide a gluten free option and a vegan option. I would definitely recommend Half Moon!

I tasted one of Debbe's cakes at an event I'd worked and knew I didn't need to do any cake tasting for my wedding (although we decided to anyway and it was SO much fun!) Debbe was incredibly easy to work with and made the mirror image of the inspiration cake we showed her. Our guests LOVED the cake, especially the variety of unique flavors we were able to include in a small three tiered cake- the carrot cake was an unexpected favorite of everyone!
