Loved our venue!
We got married at Haggin Oaks on August 31st ! Our experience was amazing and are so glad we went with this venue! We loved that we could go with our own venues which helped us stay in budget. The coordinators were very helpful and were great with responding to all questions and concerns. Katrina, our day of coordinator, was the best! She made sure everything went smoothly which made it stress free. Our guests raved about the food (even the mashed potatoes were a hit!) and said it was an absolutely beautiful wedding. They loved the tented/outdoor space which flowed perfectly.
Could not have picked a better venue for our special day!
Thank you to the team at Haggin Oaks!

I loved our venue. We only used it for our reception but it was beautiful. The staff was very professional and my the day very special. Like most venue they have their rules and don't budge. I would have liked to add an additional hour to our rental but wasn't allowed to. Other than that it was perfect. Lots of food options and colors or napkins.

hard to review this venue, the event staff was awesome, the venue is beautiful, the price is reasonable.. but watch out for the wait staff !!!,, our guest were loosing drinks and food right and left,, it was crazy, but almost every guest I spoke with lost a drink or plate, the wait staff was picking up anything unattended,, we had dancing and a photo booth, so people tended to walk away now and then.. I spoke with the venue the next day, and they would take no responsibility for their wait staff,, very disappointed...

The Best Man Might Get Hit By a Golf Ball
My daughter had such high hopes for this venue. It's very pretty and she fell in love with it.
I will start by saying that the wait and bar staff are very professional. The event coordinators are terrible and not particularly professional. Of, course that might be because our daughter's wedding was small and they didn't rake in tens of thousands of dollars.
We were told everything would be set up so we could decorate. When we arrived the only thing set up were the tablecloths on the tables. These were bunched up and didn't look nice at all. The tables weren't in the right place, the outdoor tables and benches were still in the tent and the sweetheart table was placed in view of a gigantic fan. The event coordinator was 45 minutes late. We had to call her to let her know things weren't ready. She apologized. Then we found out that the staff didn't have paperwork for our event which explains why things weren't set up.
It also was not communicated to us that a golf tournament would be happening the day of the wedding. When we did the rehearsal the day before, the tournament was going on but we were told it would be over the day of. It was not. We were then told the tournament would be over by the time the ceremony started. It was not. I'm glad we didn't hire a videographer because all you would have heard is the sound of golf balls being hit. My daughter got married under the tree. If we had been told, we would have moved the ceremony to the gazebo.
My daughter decided to do pictures before the ceremony. There is a bridge that figures prominently in the photos on their website. Don't even try to have pictures taken there. You will be run over by golf carts. Also because the tee is next to the Pavilion, golfers will tell you to be quiet because apparently Haggin Oaks thinks the thousands of dollars you spend on a wedding there isn't as important as the minimal fee a golfer spends to compete in a tournament.
The event coordinator had the gall to come up to us while we were taking pictures and ask how long we would be there and if we could move because we were disturbing the golfers. She didn't even tell us where a better place to take pictures might be. Because we had to find another place, the photographer didn't realize she hadn't taken solo pictures of my daughter in her wedding dress. While that's partly on the photographer, it's also on the coordinator. I'm not going to have that picture and I'm furious.
The tournament went on during the reception and a stray ball hit the best man. He needed and ice pack. The golfer that hit him didn't apologize and just wanted to know where his ball had gone.
I strongly advise not having your wedding here not matter how in love you are with the tent. Although I'm guessing if your wedding has two hundred or more people that provide better service.
My daughter was very upset on what should have been the happiest day of her life.
