Our wedding celebration was elevated to great heights thanks to the incredible talent of Guys on the Radio. We had a suite of services from them and all were impeccable. We used Guys on the Radio for their DJ, Flash Foto Booth, Totally Kreative Video for videography, Sisters Stress Free Planning, and Adam Jamsa as an officiant., which was so incredibly convenient to have all together. This review will cover the first two, as the rest I have reviewed separately and were all phenomenal (and it will save space typing)

Kevin Kramer was our DJ. He was fantastic to work with and has a deep knowledge of musicality. We had an alternative wedding, so had a different style of music than is typical for a wedding played for our day, and Kevin did a phenomenal job seamlessly blending music that we wanted to play with crowd-pleasing hits, keeping the dance floor alive and our guests thoroughly entertained. I had guests comment on how it was the best music they had had at a wedding and was music they would have wanted to hear themselves. Kevin’s professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to read the room created for an unforgettable experience. Kevin truly made our wedding reception a party to remember, and we wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone in search of a phenomenal DJ.

We also had Kevin perform live for our cocktail hour and it was a beautiful touch to the overall ambiance. His performance was top notch and he has a great variety of songs to curate his live setlist with. We were thoroughly impressed and guests loved the entertainment while enjoying cocktail hour.

Finally, we had the Flash Foto Photobooth as well and guests were using it all night. They came with great props, a modern photobooth setup, and we loved that there were instant print outs for everyone and we got a book with all the photos and signed by everyone that took a photo plus USB with digital versions at the end. The entertainment and sentimental value from the photobooth made it well worth it.

I would highly recommend the Guys on the Radio for all of their services for anyone looking for convenience with extremely high quality professional output!

During our wedding, we utilized JC--owner of Guys on the Radio--as our DJ, along with several branches of his company, including the Sisters Stress Free Planning, Flash Foto Photobooth, and the live Trio. Words cannot even begin to express just how thrilled we were to work with JC and his team! They made the entire day sooooo special and one we will truly NEVER forget :) This was made possible through several Facetime meetings with JC to discuss various details, texts with Kevin concerning our live playlist, and the Sisters emailing/calling to coordinate our arrangement details to ensure they were able to maximize their tear-down time. Wedding planning is not the easiest task, but Stress Free Event Group: Guys on the Radio 100% earned their name and deserve every bit of praise they have coming their way! From my first phone call with JC, I knew I was going to hire Guys on the Radio to DJ our wedding. Their email reminders and planning website were helpful at pulling out all the info they needed to make the day go smoothly. Upon meeting JC, I knew we made the right choice. He and his team are truly there to make sure you have the best day. He incorporated our eclectic mix of tunes effortlessly throughout the night. They even worked with us through a few quirky requests and made sure it all fit within our timeline. We received many compliments from guests on the music and the dance floor was lively all night. A sweet little bonus was what they call the “second first dance” which included a recording of our vows mixed with music. It was such a sweet little moment he created! We also took advantage of the Sisters Planning add-on package. It was HANDS DOWN the best money we spent. Ashley and her team did so much more than set up and take down decorations. She helped our rehearsal and ceremony go smoothly. She checked in on us and delivered drinks, offered to bring a second plate of food during dinner, and packed away everything as neatly as it arrived. Overall, they deserve 10 out of 5 stars and the only bad part was that the night seemed to end too soon!

Jon did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding in January at Starved Rock. He was very easy to work with, flexible with changes made and kept the party alive! I relied on him to pick the last song of the night and he couldn't have done a better job. It was the most PERFECT ending to the best day ever. I also had Kevin for acoustic hour, which was amazing. Jon was nice enough to record all of our speeches, acoustic hour and even take some video's of the night so that we could cherish those moments! I highly recommend them!

If you wanna party, you won’t be disappointed with Guys on the Radio!!! Kevin Zam and Kevin Kramer were amazing at my wedding! They knew exactly what we wanted and the dance floor was packed the whole night! Kevin K played guitar for my ceremony and had no problem when I asked if he could play a song that wasn’t on his list. Kevin Z made sure throughout the night that everything was going as planned and made sure I was happy. What a fun group of guys! The online planning tool was also super convenient. Best vendor choice by far. The 5 hour wedding package was $1000 and an extra $250 for an hour of acoustic guitar for our ceremony. THANKS GUYS!

We found Guys on the Radio at the Starved Rock Bridal Expo. We opted for the Diamond package which included a costume monogram, photo montage with 3 dvd copies, and 16 uplights. They also offered officiant services, which we opted for. We wanted JC to officiant our wedding ceremony and MC our event. He did a fantastic job! At the end of the night he had put together a special recording of our first dance song along with lines taken from our ceremony and best man & maid of honor speeches. It was so sweet. They also offer services for stress free set up and tear down with the Sisters. We did all our own decorations and centerpieces, and the sisters set it all up and tore it down for us and pack it up and placed it into our room. It was perfect! They handled everything so that we could relax and enjoy the night. We highly recommend Guys on the Radio! They are AWESOME!

Where do I even begin... JC was absolutely fantastic!

Our wedding was a little nontraditional. We did not have a sit down dinner, instead had passed and stationed hors devours. This left more time for dancing, more than most weddings. Our final meeting with JC was almost 2 hours long, which we very much appreciated. JC didn't leave a detail unmentioned, which calmed our nerves.

When we got to our venue JC was already all set up. JC and Melissa met with us to go over our song selections and see if there were any last minute changes, which there were and he made without hesitation. Melissa even checked in to see if we had eaten and got us a plate of appetizers. Melissa got everyone lined up and explained directions for the entrance to my whole bridal party. I didn't have to do anything. It was great and something I am not used to!

To top it all off... which brought everyone at the end of the night to tears... JC replayed our first song, but this time edited it and added all the highlights from all speeches made from the night, which we had some pretty awesome speeches. We got to relive all our favorite parts and made it a perfect ending to the night. My now husband, and I have been together for almost 10 years and he made our already amazing wedding day complete with that last surprise.

We also booked our photo booth with Guys on the Radio. Cheryl from Flash Foto was in touch with me from the beginning which was over 6 months before the wedding and stayed in touch till the very end. Not only did we get a book with all the guests pictures and notes but we also got all the photo booth pictures on a flash drive!

Clean up also came with our DJ package and The Sisters made it so easy we didn't have to lift a finger.

We are so happy with the way our wedding day turned out and JC had a huge part in that! Guys on the Radio= 5 stars for sure!

We loved working with Shap and Kevin! They played great music that kept everyone on the dance floor! They were super flexible with changes. They have an amazing online portal that you go to fill out most of your information for the wedding. So if you think of something at 3am you can log on and make a change. Also, I would recommend going with the diamond package! It came with amazing uplighting, unlimited time, a beautiful personalized monogram light and an amazing slideshow of you and your love. They work closely with you the day of your wedding to make sure that things run smoothly and as close to on time as possible. I will always recommend guys on the radio. My husband and I are so happy that we chose them to share our special day with.
