We had the most wonderful experience working with the entire Gurney’s team to plan our dream wedding and the special day was just that, our dream wedding. We couldn’t have imagined a more amazing team team to work with during our wedding planning process. Wedding planning can be extremely stressful and it was such a relief that we had the entire Gurney’s team to lean on throughout the planning process.

Danielle, our wedding coordinator, was there with us from start to finish. Every question we had, every concern we raised, Danielle was there to ensure we had all the information we needed. She was so patient with us and really worked with us to ensure the wedding was exactly what we envisioned and within the budget we had set - which is something that is so important when working with a wedding venue.

Brian, and the entire catering staff, were absolutely tremendous. The day of our wedding tasting stands out to us and our families as one of the funnest times of the wedding planning process. They were so helpful with the menu and catered to special requests and allergies. Most importantly, the food did not feel like “wedding” food or “catered” food it felt and tasted like a five-star restaurant. So many of our guests absolutely raved about the food selection at our wedding - from the cocktail hour display, which was out of this world, to the three-course plated dinner, which included the most perfectly cooked filet mignon, at the reception. And maybe more importantly they kept our guests drinking all night long!!

Ginny, our bridal attendant, was out of this world amazing. Her energy was so contagious and she kept us so excited the weeks leading up to the big day and most importantly the big day itself. Ginny sent us amazing tips and reminders leading up to the wedding day, which was so appreciated and extremely helpful. We were in the Hamptons the week leading up to the wedding and upon arrival Ginny made us feel overly welcome and catered to our every need. Most importantly and impressively, she ensured the day of the wedding went off seamlessly and when any problems arose she jumped right in and took charge to ensure nothing fell on our shoulders. Ginny was always there, anything we needed during the day of the wedding, any question that we had or concern we raised Ginny was always there. Not just there but there with a smile on her face.

We can’t say more great things about Gurney’s - we highly recommend choosing them for your special event. We would do it all over again if we could!

Our Wedding at Gurney’s Montauk was absolute perfection. From the first visit with Danielle, through the planning process, and of course our wedding day - the whole staff was helpful, attentive, professional, and pure class. Ginny (a MUST HAVE) is one the most generous people I have ever met and made our wedding day run so smoothly while remaining calm and personable. Danielle was pure joy to plan and work with, and we truly felt like the most important event they were having at Gurneys this season. I cannot gush enough about the WHOLE experience! We even went back to celebrate “6 months married” and they still treated us just as special. :) Class act! Let’s do it all again!

Beautiful venue on the beaches of Montauk. The venue and hotel are gorgeous and the property and rooms have been recently renovated. They have their wedding business very organized thanks to Danielle S., Ginny D., and Michael N. There is not one thing I would change about this venue. If your looking for a rustic chic beach wedding Gurney's is your venue.
It's on the higher end price wise however you can see why when you are there that it's a top venue and the service and venue are 5 star. Also, the food is really good, not standard wedding food. There was so much amazing food at cocktail hour some people thought it was dinner. food. There was a 3-course dinner and wedding cake after that all included in the price.
We had 150 at our wedding which was the perfect size for us. We did our wedding in the tent, not ballroom which I think is much prettier as the tent has ocean views, hardwood floors and it's a beautiful tent with lights and chandeliers (not your average tent) You can easily fit 300 in the tent.

Our wedding at Gurneys was an absolute dream! The staff, specifically Danielle and Ginny made our wedding magic. Throughout the year of planning, Danielle was responsive, caring, professional, and extremely helpful. During the weekend, and day of, Ginny went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that our bridal parties, and everyone else involved were happy and taken care of. The food, drinks, venue, and foodservice staff were also incredible. I cannot tell you how many of our guests told us that our wedding was the most well executed and beautiful wedding that they had ever attended =) Best day ever.

It was everything my husband and I could of dreamed of and more. Every detailed was precisely executed and handled with great care.

We fell in love with Virginia Davis (Ginny) the Bridal & Catering Manager at Gurney’s. Ginny has an incredible way of creating a wedding while involving us (the bride & groom) during the process which was so enjoyable & now memorable! Gurney’s is a spectacular venue to get married with great sun & rain options but it’s the team that made the wedding. Thank you everyone at Gurney’s. We had an amazing day!

My husband and I only looked at one venue which was Gurney's and we were sold. It was everything we could have possibly wanted and more. Danielle and Ginny were awesome throughout the process up to the actual day of itself. Our wedding day exceeded all expectations that we had. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was, starting with cocktail hour. The servers and bartenders were awesome and there were no hiccups throughout the night. I can't say enough amazing things about Gurneys in general. We have stayed at Gurneys many times, used the spa and ate at all the restaurants inside and never have we had a bad experience. It has the most stunning views, great staff and food- what more could you possibly ask for? It was truly the best day ever!!

My now husband and I met at Gurney’s three years before we were engaged, so it felt right to get married there on August 4th, 2018. The ambiance and service at Gurney’s is truly perfect. We had so many compliments from our guests in regards to the beauty and magic of our wedding weekend. The quality of our cocktail also floored our guests- so much so they couldn’t believe there was a reception after!
We did not get married on the beach, but on the deck over looking the beach, and it still felt like a beach front wedding without all the sand! We took our wedding to the fire pit after the reception, and had our farewell brunch at Gurney’s the next day as well, which I highly recommend.
The team at Gurney’s, especially Ginny, was exceptionally attentive, calming, and helpful throughout the months of making all the necessary decisions. I have known Ginny for a few years and it was amazing to finally be one of her brides! She truly loves her job and makes you feel like your wedding is as important to her as if it were her own! Our wedding was the best weekend of our lives, and we recommend saying I do at Gurney’s to anyone!
