We had the most wonderful experience working with the entire Gurney’s team to plan our dream wedding and the special day was just that, our dream wedding. We couldn’t have imagined a more amazing team team to work with during our wedding planning process. Wedding planning can be extremely stressful and it was such a relief that we had the entire Gurney’s team to lean on throughout the planning process.

Danielle, our wedding coordinator, was there with us from start to finish. Every question we had, every concern we raised, Danielle was there to ensure we had all the information we needed. She was so patient with us and really worked with us to ensure the wedding was exactly what we envisioned and within the budget we had set - which is something that is so important when working with a wedding venue.

Brian, and the entire catering staff, were absolutely tremendous. The day of our wedding tasting stands out to us and our families as one of the funnest times of the wedding planning process. They were so helpful with the menu and catered to special requests and allergies. Most importantly, the food did not feel like “wedding” food or “catered” food it felt and tasted like a five-star restaurant. So many of our guests absolutely raved about the food selection at our wedding - from the cocktail hour display, which was out of this world, to the three-course plated dinner, which included the most perfectly cooked filet mignon, at the reception. And maybe more importantly they kept our guests drinking all night long!!

Ginny, our bridal attendant, was out of this world amazing. Her energy was so contagious and she kept us so excited the weeks leading up to the big day and most importantly the big day itself. Ginny sent us amazing tips and reminders leading up to the wedding day, which was so appreciated and extremely helpful. We were in the Hamptons the week leading up to the wedding and upon arrival Ginny made us feel overly welcome and catered to our every need. Most importantly and impressively, she ensured the day of the wedding went off seamlessly and when any problems arose she jumped right in and took charge to ensure nothing fell on our shoulders. Ginny was always there, anything we needed during the day of the wedding, any question that we had or concern we raised Ginny was always there. Not just there but there with a smile on her face.

We can’t say more great things about Gurney’s - we highly recommend choosing them for your special event. We would do it all over again if we could!

Gurney's exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it as a destination spot for weddings or special occasions for friends and family!

Beautiful venue on the beaches of Montauk. The venue and hotel are gorgeous and the property and rooms have been recently renovated. They have their wedding business very organized thanks to Danielle S., Ginny D., and Michael N. There is not one thing I would change about this venue. If your looking for a rustic chic beach wedding Gurney's is your venue.
It's on the higher end price wise however you can see why when you are there that it's a top venue and the service and venue are 5 star. Also, the food is really good, not standard wedding food. There was so much amazing food at cocktail hour some people thought it was dinner. food. There was a 3-course dinner and wedding cake after that all included in the price.
We had 150 at our wedding which was the perfect size for us. We did our wedding in the tent, not ballroom which I think is much prettier as the tent has ocean views, hardwood floors and it's a beautiful tent with lights and chandeliers (not your average tent) You can easily fit 300 in the tent.

Our wedding at Gurneys was an absolute dream! The staff, specifically Danielle and Ginny made our wedding magic. Throughout the year of planning, Danielle was responsive, caring, professional, and extremely helpful. During the weekend, and day of, Ginny went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that our bridal parties, and everyone else involved were happy and taken care of. The food, drinks, venue, and foodservice staff were also incredible. I cannot tell you how many of our guests told us that our wedding was the most well executed and beautiful wedding that they had ever attended =) Best day ever.

We fell in love with Virginia Davis (Ginny) the Bridal & Catering Manager at Gurney’s. Ginny has an incredible way of creating a wedding while involving us (the bride & groom) during the process which was so enjoyable & now memorable! Gurney’s is a spectacular venue to get married with great sun & rain options but it’s the team that made the wedding. Thank you everyone at Gurney’s. We had an amazing day!

My husband and I only looked at one venue which was Gurney's and we were sold. It was everything we could have possibly wanted and more. Danielle and Ginny were awesome throughout the process up to the actual day of itself. Our wedding day exceeded all expectations that we had. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was, starting with cocktail hour. The servers and bartenders were awesome and there were no hiccups throughout the night. I can't say enough amazing things about Gurneys in general. We have stayed at Gurneys many times, used the spa and ate at all the restaurants inside and never have we had a bad experience. It has the most stunning views, great staff and food- what more could you possibly ask for? It was truly the best day ever!!

My now husband and I met at Gurney’s three years before we were engaged, so it felt right to get married there on August 4th, 2018. The ambiance and service at Gurney’s is truly perfect. We had so many compliments from our guests in regards to the beauty and magic of our wedding weekend. The quality of our cocktail also floored our guests- so much so they couldn’t believe there was a reception after!
We did not get married on the beach, but on the deck over looking the beach, and it still felt like a beach front wedding without all the sand! We took our wedding to the fire pit after the reception, and had our farewell brunch at Gurney’s the next day as well, which I highly recommend.
The team at Gurney’s, especially Ginny, was exceptionally attentive, calming, and helpful throughout the months of making all the necessary decisions. I have known Ginny for a few years and it was amazing to finally be one of her brides! She truly loves her job and makes you feel like your wedding is as important to her as if it were her own! Our wedding was the best weekend of our lives, and we recommend saying I do at Gurney’s to anyone!

Our Wedding at Gurney’s Montauk was absolute perfection. From the first visit with Danielle, through the planning process, and of course our wedding day - the whole staff was helpful, attentive, professional, and pure class. Ginny (a MUST HAVE) is one the most generous people I have ever met and made our wedding day run so smoothly while remaining calm and personable. Danielle was pure joy to plan and work with, and we truly felt like the most important event they were having at Gurneys this season. I cannot gush enough about the WHOLE experience! We even went back to celebrate “6 months married” and they still treated us just as special. :) Class act! Let’s do it all again!

I just got married at Gurney's two weeks ago and cannot say enough good things about our experience.

The team, most importantly Ginny, is responsive, on top of the details, and incredibly calming and helpful to be around!! She made everything incredibly stress-free for me on the day of, and in the weeks leading up to the wedding which is priceless to a bride :)

The team was willing to change things up for us, were aware of my concerns, and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of! Great experience!! I wish i could do it all over again!

The whole experience was amazing, from beginning to end they would make sure everything was perfect and on point. All of our guests were super impressed with the setting, organization, food, service etc and my husband and I had a blast on our special day. Worth every penny.

WOW!!! The Gurney team is unbelievable. From the beginning, I have never worked with a smarter, harder-working and fun group of people. I honestly cannot begin to express my satisfaction with the team, venue, food, details...and everything else!!! Ginny is by far one of the most amazing people I have ever met or worked with. I plan on being friends for life with her and the rest of the team at the Gurney!! I had just as much fun talking to them during the weekend as I did with my guests!!! The venue was so beautiful and every detail was perfect. They responded to every single email I had throughout the planning process and went above and beyond on every request. Everything I needed they anticipated and delivered. The food was amazing, the decorations were beautiful and the entire staff were the nicest most pleasant people I have ever met. My guests are still talking about the team there!!! Besides Ginny Davis, specific thanks to Diannah Sanchez and Liz Diaz who were part of my team. Lena and Maureen at the front desk and guest services were also amazing and integral in the process. Honestly, everything was perfect and I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience.

Just got married at Gurney's this July and I could not have been more pleased with the event that they put together for me and my husband. Ginny, the wedding planner was outstanding. She was on top of everything and made the day completely stress free. The staff at the spa were amazing too and did a wonderful job with my hair and makeup. I had a great time and so did my guests. I would get married there every year if I could!

Ginny and Ana at Gurney's are literally a dream team when it comes to planning a wedding. When my husband and I got engaged we knew we wanted a Montauk wedding, but weren't sure where. While Gurney's has an amazing location, has been renovated beautifully, has incredible food, and many other awesome features- it was having Ginny and Ana as a part of our wedding experience that really sealed the deal. They worked with us (and our parents) on every single one of our needs, and there were many! We spent a few days at Gurney's before the wedding and fell in love with the rest of the staff. The all made us feel like we were so special. The whole experience was so amazing.. we can't wait to go back to visit!

Even a year later my husband and I still reflect back on how amazing our experience was at Gurney's! I cannot say enough about Ginny! She might actually be a miracle worker. She balanced our needs with our parent's requests and made everything work. On top of Ginny, the entire staff of Gurney's went out of their way to make us feel special and taken care of every time we walked through their doors.

Ginny Davis at Gurney's Resort and Spa was a pleasure to deal with. She made my process from start to finish seamless! She was on top of things, responsive to my every need and her expertise was second to none on how to make my wedding day so special. The day of she was phenomenal! My husband and I were so pleased with the changes that Gurney's had made to the venue. We can't wait to see it all finished next year. It was too bad it hadn't started a year earlier this way we could have enjoyed the entire resort finished for our wedding. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the resort and the job that Gurney's did the day of the wedding! If you are searching for a true destination in Montauk Gurney's is the only way to go!

My husband and I had a beautiful wedding in October 2013. We were lucky enough to have the perfect weather for a beachfront wedding in fall. Ginny, Zelko, Phyllis, and the rest of the staff were truly amazing. They listened and followed every detail of my special requests and notes. They even took care of my vegan and vegetarian guests. The staff and I were in great communication throughout the entire 5 months I had to plan the wedding. The 1 wedding at a time policy is such a nice thing to have. Many venues share their facilities with multiple simultaneous weddings and Gurney's Inn is not like that at all. They really take care of you and give you their full attention on your big day. The food is spectacular and wedding cake was custom crafted and really fit the theme. Our cocktail hour was under the tent over looking the ocean. The bridal suite is spacious and located conveniently over honeymoon suite. Zelko's demeanor is very professional yet caring, he treated me like his own daughter was getting married. Ginny will do everything in her power to make your wedding day perfect. She is a great listener and has a calmness to her that helped me stay relaxed as I was walking down the aisle. I can't wait to visit Gurney's again for my anniversary.

From start to finish we had an amazing experience at Gurney’s Inn and absolutely loved it for our wedding -- we couldn’t imagine having had it anywhere else.

Everyone at Gurney’s was really fantastic, especially John, Ginny & Phyllis. They were incredibly insightful and creative with suggestions for our ceremony, décor, timing, and vendor recommendations. We certainly had our share of questions throughout the planning process and on the day of and they couldn’t have been more responsive, helpful, and accommodating.

On our actual wedding day in May, John Ovanessian in particular was on top of every single detail including things we hadn’t anticipated. We felt like everyone truly cared about making our day and weekend special and we will forever have a positive connection to Gurney’s. It is such a beautiful and unique setting that allowed us to achieve our ‘destination wedding' feel without having everyone get on a plane. Our friends and family all had an unbelievable time, but especially loved the bonfire which was really awesome! The entire weekend was perfect and it’s truly a testament to the time and energy contributed by everyone at Gurney’s.

Gurney’s Inn you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful wedding location! The only private beach location on long island and it sure is stunning! If you are a beach person this is THE place to get married! Feet in the sand, waves crashing right behind you and the cool ocean breeze against your skin. You are literally 20 feet from the ocean it doesn’t get much better than that!! Then you go upstairs to the outdoor cocktail reception on the Sun Deck. Followed by a beautiful reception in the Discovery Room ballroom. And the best thing is the After Party Bonfire on the beach! Instead of your wedding being a mere 4 hours it turns into an entire event. And you can even make a weekend out of it staying Gurney’s and enjoying all the amenities! But seriously I could go on and on about how beautiful and truly special Gurney’s is. And best of all the people working the weddings are amazing! Ginny Davis is such a caring, loving, and hardworking wedding coordinator who wouldn’t want to plan their wedding with her! I worked with Ginny throughout my wedding planning process she was so helpful and quick to reply to any question I had. On the day of the wedding she was by my side making sure everything was taken care of. My wedding day was completely stress free and a big part of that has to with her. While Ginny was taking care of me the day of John Ovanessian another coordinator at Gurney’s who is also extremely helpful, attentive and great to work with was busy making sure everything behind the scenes was going smoothly. Zelko the Maitre’D was also a sweetheart! So I HIGHLY recommend Gurney’s Inn for the ultimate beach wedding on Long Island. It’s a destination wedding without all the hassle of airlines. The atmosphere and scenery is breathtaking and they treat you like family!

We got married here in October 2015. Let us start by saying that you guys superseded all of our expectations. We couldn't have been happier. The place is BEAUTIFUL. All the renovations are stunning. The new food is Amazing. On site team - the most helpful group ever. Even though we were quite high maintenance, you guys were able to fulfill all of our requests. Ginny, you truly are a super star and we couldn't be more grateful for your composure, coolness and experience on our wedding day! Thank you for handling all the situations seamlessly, with grace, and so effectively. All of our guests complimented very highly the choice of the venue and overall event. Again, thank you very much, we'll be sure to return to Gurney's at least once a year if not more, and we'll always remember the day with warmth in our hearts.You made our day truly special!

Gurney's Inn and the wedding staff were amazing, especially Ginny. They went above and beyond and were more than accommodating every step of the way to make sure I had the perfect day! It was great that I could have my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place and all with the beautiful ocean view! Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. My DREAM spot for years. The location is simply stunning, but what really made our wedding day special was Ginny. Ginny is a literal angel on earth who tended to our every need on our wedding weekend and the months leading up to the big day. Montauk is a beautiful town but Gurneys is the most beautiful location to have your wedding.
