We had our wedding ceremony at GEC on October 9, and it was beautiful! I want to start by saying that Courtney is the most incredible coordinator in the game, and she will make any event stress free and smooth. She’s highly responsive and flexible, and she had great suggestions throughout the entire process. She was patient and understanding while we were planning, and she never made us feel like we were crazy for asking a million questions. We had to change our date, so Courtney was *lucky* enough to deal with our craziness for over a year, and her kindness never wavered.

Other than having nothing but wonderful things to say about Courtney, the rest of the staff was wonderful on our wedding day. My husband and I were very impressed with their attentiveness. The day ran very smooth with no hiccups. The venue is beautiful, and our wedding was absolutely gorgeous. An added bonus was that the amazing staff cleaned up all of our decor and put it by the front doors afterwards for us to pick up the next morning. We had no worries after our wedding.

We highly recommend this venue for any and all couples that love New Braunfels and want a low stress wedding planning experience. This venue is basically all inclusive, and like I know I’ve mentioned, it comes with a pretty amazing day of coordinator. 11/10 would pick this venue over and over again!!!

Loved the way our wedding turned out here! Its such a beautiful place right in the center of a beautiful historic town. The workers here are extremely helpful and answered all my questions every step of the way. The restaurant next door is the caterer and the food is AMAZING! Each and every one of my guest still talk about the dinner (stuffed chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans). They also provided all of the glass dinnerware! I could not have imagined such a beautiful wedding and am so glad we decided to do it here! Also, this place is extremely affordable! The only downside i can think of here is there are no dressing rooms.

Our event wasn't a wedding. Our daughter fell completely in love with the venue. We celebrated her birthday here, quienceanera style. We down scaled a bit. And just because it was only her 16 birthday, We chose not to use the dish wear. And keep it simple yet classy. We created a menu and Jason did an amazing job! The night was spectacular and very memorable! For her wedding one day we will go all out and over the top and have it here again at the Gruene event center. Many thanks to everyone who helped that day we appreciate it and to Skye, who was amazing thank you so much!!! We look forward in planning another event here soon!!
