Drew came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator and he was definitely one of the best decisions we made during our wedding. He kept everything on track and checked in with us repeatedly to make sure we were okay. Our friends LOVED the music and are still talking about how great he was! He kept the party going and read the room really well. I would totally hire Drew for any other events!

We were so lucky to have found Drew on yelp when we were looking for a DJ. After countless emails back and forth with DJs in the Seattle area, we were overwhelmed and nervous about hiring one. Some you don't even meet until the week of your wedding... but not Drew. We reached out to Drew via email, and set up an in person meeting over the summer. He came to the meeting prepared with a DJ form that he uses full of all sorts of stuff we hadn't begun to think about. He was very easy-going and low pressure about booking (which we totally appreciate).

When we finally made the (best) decision and booked with Drew, he emailed us a copy of his form, and we began to work on the document. When we submitted it to him, he provided us thoughtful suggestions, and we eventually scheduled a meeting to talk on the phone. We reviewed the document, filled in any gaps and felt confident for our wedding day.

Our big day finally came and Drew worked with our day of coordinator and officiant to make the day flawless. If anything went wrong, we don't know what it was. The ceremony music was great - the transitions between ceremony/cocktail hour/reception were smooth and the music choices were spot on. Once people started dancing - they did not stop! Now even after the wedding, people still tell us how much fun they had, how they loved the music selections, and all the dancing.

DJ Drew was so awesome! My husband and I really wanted a DJ who could get down and funky and DJ Drew was exactly that type of DJ. During the reception he danced right along with us, helped lead us in the group line dances, and seemed like he was genuinely happy to be at the wedding which was infectious. Lots of people got up and danced at our wedding! Thanks to him, we partied well! He was also amazing during the ceremony. He had everything cued and ready to go and there were absolutely no technical glitches, which led to a perfectly smooth day.

DJ Doughboy / Drew Hobson is amazing! We could not have asked for a better DJ. He not only made an awesome playlist that kept our guests (of all ages) on the dance floor all night but he also served as a day-of coordinator helping keep everything organized throughout the night. We highly recommend Groove Entertainment!
