Picking a photographer to capture the most important day of your life is kind of a big deal. So just let Ali and her team do it, because they will exceed all of your expectations, go above and beyond, and even your guests will be talking about how great they were months after the wedding. Ali made us feel so comfortable, took control when I needed her to, and was so patient with everyone (because herding family and buzzed up bridal parties is not for the faint of heart). Our pictures turned out better than we could have ever imagined, and her finesse in bringing out and capturing our love when cameras are pointed at you is perfect. I will recommend her to everyone, and she better be ready to do family photos for us for the rest of our lives ;) We can't thank Golden Arrow and Ali enough!

They captured the moments perfectly and pulled the beauty out of the night into pictures. There ideas were amazing, where they took us to take pictures were spectacular, the scheduling they created as well as Sun/ golden hour times were ON THE DOT!! Perfection perfection perfection. If you are planning a wedding/event and looking for photographers, golden arrow is the best way to go - I have hundreds + of pictures of the night of our lives and each one is spectacular, they will capture your night exactly the way you have always dreamed of it and then some. We love Ali! Not only were the shots beautiful (both of the wedding and the engagement shoot), but how she went about every aspect of planning and executing our shoots was extremely professional. Ali truly has an eye for lighting, finding the most magical spaces, and catching the most important moments (even the ones that were unexpected). ALL of our family members cried looking at just our highlights album which Ali graciously provided just a few days after our wedding. As if Ali's artistic skills and professionalism weren't enough, we must add that her little extras like having a guest book ready for our use at the wedding and providing the most exquisite pieces to our flatlay truly enhanced the overall magic of our wedding.

Golden Arrow captured moments in our wedding and engagement that went beyond our expectations. In the talented pool of photographers here in SoCal, we were immediately and unanimously drawn to Ali Lieb’s work.
Before ever meeting with her, she was quick to respond to e-mails. She spoke with confidence, excitement, and so much patience when answering the PAGES of questions we had for her! When we finally met with her, she welcomed us with so much joy for getting to capture our special day.
Ali was full of creative ideas. She was very clear on the parameters of each possibility; no hidden fees, thank God!, all while being fully aware of our budget and sensitive to our special wants and needs.
Being a Chinese-Jewish wedding, where each culture has it’s own complicated traditions, Ali and her staff weaved in n’ out of crowds swiftly and purposefully. We were at ease, knowing we could trust her keen eyes and talent.
During our engagement photos, my fiancé and I had much difficulty trying to find a backdrop that was altogether beautiful, and “us.” It was difficult to articulate what we wanted so we just pointed at some pictures and said, “that!” In a matter of seconds she suggested a place and shot our pictures in 30 minutes, including a change of clothing, multiple different sceneries, portraits and candid shots. She waisted no time, and helped us feel comfortable. Ali knows what she is doing, she knows the area, and she loves her art and loves people.
Golden Arrow has been a deep blessing to us and our families. Weddings are full of action. Its so hard to be present physically and mentally for every detail of that day. Time seems to go by so quickly and we forget to stop and enjoy the crazy, silly, awkward, and bitter-sweet times that each moment brings us. Ali has captured all of these precious moments. We are overjoyed to have these gifts and to look back on these memories. Thank you again Ali, you’re amazing.

I am so disgusted with the way Ali treated my husband and I. From day one, she made it feel like she didn't have time for us. I had a couple ideas in mind for our engagement photo location and Ali shot every idea down and used some poor excuse but in reality, she was just too lazy to leave her bubble in Menifee. We ended up settling on a location that was conveniently right down the street from her. I scheduled an appointment to get my hair and makeup done for our engagement photos and put a $100 deposit down. The night before our photos, Ali cancelled on us because her "daughter came down with covid"...another poor excuse. So I lost my $100 deposit for hair and makeup and had to reschedule our photos. When rescheduling, Ali settled for a location closer to us (the guilt) and the entire experience was horrible. She was late. She made everything feel awkward. She was in a rush to get home to relieve her babysitter. SO PROFESSIONAL! We ended up getting our pictures back the next day (major red flag) so we know she spent zero time editing. I could've had someone take better pictures off of my iPhone, that's how bad they were. Fast forward to our wedding. On May 19th (16 days before our wedding) I sent over our family shot list and asked for her timeline because a couple other vendors were asking for it. I never heard back from her until...TWO DAYS BEFORE OUR WEDDING AT 3PM. Ali sends me a message through honeybook pretty much stating that she cant shoot our wedding because she was sick. She couldn't even handle the situation like an adult and pick up the phone which tells me she wasn't sick. AGAIN, another poor excuse. She did offer for two people to fill in yet I have never seen their work and have never talked to them. I called our venue owner (because Golden Arrow was on the preferred vendor list) and asked if this has ever happened. The owner called the kettle black and said Ali was a liar, she wasn't sick and that her and her family were moving to Florida during that time and Ali was either out of state or had better things to do. No bride should EVER have to endure this kind of stress two days before their wedding especially with your photographer, the most important part of your big day. I ended up terminating our contract, book another photographer (who is AMAZING @tessamariephotography) and demanded our $ back. Mind you, Ali had already been paid in full. She spent all of our money before hand so she could only afford to give us half of what was paid. She could only pay us in installments on the 15th of every month until it was satisfied by October 15th. She used covid as an excuse as to why she had to pay in installments. The first, second, third payments were late. I had to reach out and ask all 3 times where our $ was. We never received September or Octobers payment. I have messaged Ali THREE times since then to see when we are to expect to receive our $. No response. Ali is clearly in it for herself and doesn't care about her clients. I am sure she will regret all of the lies when she sees us in small claims court!
