Husband-and-wife duo Darrin and Amy Odell own and operate this property and invite couples seeking a rustic backdrop for their special day. Nearlyweds and their loved ones can savor a dream wedding in lush mountain gardens and elegant country surroundings.

Facilities and Capacity

Gold Mountain Manor is a log mansion originally constructed in 1928, turned into a bed and breakfast in the 80s. Couples may exchange their vows in a mountain garden ceremony in an acre of verdant foliage, including rose bushes, flowering trees, and ponderosa pines. Alternatively, to-be-weds may select the intimate atmosphere of a candle-lit ceremony indoors before the grand red quartz rock fireplace. Afterward, the newlyweds and their guests can enjoy a private dinner out on the mansion's delightful wraparound veranda, illuminated by string lights and candle lanterns. This unique property is versatile and makes a marvelous backdrop for couples to create the country wedding they envision.

More then amazing

The Gold Mountain Manor is so much more then we expected. Our wedding was the most amazing experience that we could of asked for. Amy and Darrin went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect! Having a wedding there and being able to have our families stay at the manor made the weekend so special. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a weekend full of fun, love and laughter. Many memories were made here and I’m so happy everyone in my family got to experience the joy that we got when we booked this venue!

A dream come true

Beautiful venue with great owners. Amy and Darell were communicative, caring, and easy to work with throughout our wedding journey. My husband and I will be forever grateful for them for helping us making our dream wedding come true! I highly recommend booking the Manor for any special event.

Whimsical and Rustic Mountain Cabin

Beautiful grounds, helpful and accommodating staff and a unique cabin that was able to house our entire wedding party. The Gold Mountain Manor meet all of our expectations and the wedding was just as we had imagined. You would be hard pressed to find a more unique and inviting venue.

A Fairytale Wedding come true

I am not sure I can fully explain how extremely happy my new husband and I are with our experience at Gold Mountain Manor. It was a dream come true, the location was exactly what we needed- close to southern California, forested, rustic, lots of rooms for overnight stays nearby, etc. But most of all the staff was AMAZING. So many of our guests said it was the prettiest and most fun wedding they had ever been to, and Amy especially was so helpful and excited to work with our theme and really helped us plan a once in a lifetime day we will remember always. So thank you, thank you, thank you to the Gold Mountain crew for helping us start off the rest of our lives with a beautiful, perfect, evergreen fairytale dream wedding!

Not even Covid could ruin this 💙

When we set our wedding date 2 years in advance never did we think a year later we would be in such a horrible pandemic. Closer and closer we got we realized we had to make changes. In July of 2020 my husband came across this beautiful gem in big bear for an outdoor venue. We went to go visit and Amy and her family were wonderful they had just taken over the manor and she was just the sweetest. The grounds were just breathtaking. We ended up booking for our wedding ceremony since there were still so many restrictions, we scaled down from 150 to 30 people and let me tell you I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. Amy hosted some family and they can’t stop taking about how sweet and attentive they were! She made my dream come true! 💙

Dream Winter Wedding

The minute I set foot in the Manor I knew "this is it, this is the place!"
Thank you so much for the incredible venue & hospitality. You all really took excellent care of us and our guests, we couldn't have been more happy! The manor will forever hold a special place in our hearts as will your incredible staff. Gold Mountain Manor's charm is impossible to resist we find ourselves always planning our next trip back before we have even made it home.

A sweet, romantic Inn

My husband and I had the most magical day in Spring of 21'. We had a very intimate wedding, with only 30 people. With Covid and a change of ownership I felt that Amy and Darrin were so flexible with me and went above and beyond to honor our contract and prior agreements. More than half of my guests stayed at the inn and it was so lovely waking up to my family and friends with a home made breakfast! If you want an intimate but 5 star venue , this is the one for you! We will never forget our day , it was perfect. Did I mention it snowed in May ? I felt like a princess.
