Worth Every Penny

Nathan and California Cookout really were a huge part of the success of our wedding. The professionalism and food were top-notch. Nathan created a filling and tasty menu that our guests loved. They also let us add kimchi and a vegan option to really customize and represent us. They were on time and did not need anything to get their job done. We appreciated them so much.

11 out of 10 for taste and price!

We hired California Cookout for our wedding, and the food was SO GOOD. I want to have another event just to eat the food again. Nathan was so great about talking through our options for allergies and dietary restrictions. The serving team on the day of was so fast and efficient and there was plenty of food for seconds. Some of the most popular items were the Santa Barbara salad, penne alfredo, tri tip, balsamic and mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had berry and peach cobbler with ice cream. Both were great- I especially liked the berry!

Great food and service

We had a buffet at our wedding of approximately 100 guests and California cookout provided great food and the buffet line moved rather quickly. Everyone was satisfied and the staff was very friendly and professional. They even provided vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous catering

Excellent 5 star review

The food was outstanding, the service was professional and the staff was on top of everything the entire evening. We were spoiled by California Cookout. Such elegance in hiring such a wonderful catering service. We’re so grateful for California Cookout and their professionalism to make my brother and sister in laws wedding one to remember. All our guest spoke highly of the food and how impeccable it was. Nathan is one of a kind and so pleasant. He wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and make the evening wonderful. I can’t sing California Cookout’s praises enough. We will hire them again and again. My mother in law is already planning to have them come out for another future event. Words aren’t enough! THANK YOU, Nathan for providing an outstanding catering service for us. May the Lord continue to bless your business!

Amazing service at affordable prices

5 stars all around! Nathan and his staff did an amazing job catering our wedding. They took care of our appetizers, vegetarian entree, and dessert all for an UNBELIEVABLY AFFORDABLE price. Even if we got meat entrees, the price would still have been a lot lower compared to other wedding catering options. I reached out to dozens of vendors and no one came close to CA Cookout's price points.

The price is just the icing on the cake though. Nathan is efficient and organized. His staff was professional and quick. And the food was really good! We had picky eaters at our wedding and they came back for seconds!

Nathan is the best!

Booked with california cookout for my wedding, Unfortunately it was cancelled but Nathan made the process from the beginning to the cancellation soooo smooth. The taste testing he offered was fun and so good. Catering vendors can be the hardest and most expensive part of a wedding but going with them was the easiest. If and when I have an event on the books I will definetly contact Nathan again.

And to add another positive comment about Nathan himself, I had to cancel my wedding permanently meaning no postponing or anything. And he was supportive and didn't treat the cancellation like a transaction

Absolutely Amazing!

We hired California Cookout for our wedding last year. Our wedding date changed with only 3 months notice but Nate worked his magic and was able to accommodate the switch. We are so glad he did because the food and service were amazing and the price was affordable. I also used his catering services for work events and his food never disappoints. If you are able to bring in catering for your event, California Cookout is definitely the way to go. Our guests absolutely loved the food!

Best Caterer Ever!

Nathan and and his team were very professional but at the same time had a hometown feel to our event. His wide variety of menu choices and pricing worked within our budget for the wedding. He "catered" to our special needs and revisions that we threw at him with ease. The tasting, booking and payment process and follow up appointment worked out great for us. I definitely will use him for future events and recommend California Cookout for any kind and any size event.

Wedding Catering

Nathan and his team did an amazing job catering our wedding. The food was very delicious and our wedding guests loved it. We love a good barbecue so Nathan definitely brought that to the wedding. My favorite was the Santa Barbara salad and Tri-tip. Not only was the food great, but the service and staff were awesome. Thank you California Cookout!
