Girls in Black made my wedding day amazing. They take care of everything you need for you, for groom, our families and bridal party. If you’re looking for the best wedding planners, say yes to these two fabulous women. They are organized, great communicators and truly want the best for your big event. As the mother of the bride, I knew the wedding would be perfect because of their preparation before hand. Their professionalism freed us up of many duties and worries that come with planning a wedding as they were with us throughout the whole planning process. Their coordinated timeline with all the vendors as well as the handling of all the extras for the reception….from rehearsal to Sunday morning delivering to our home gifts etc. , make Jamie and Kerrie the perfect pair to celebrate the perfect day!!! They were truly incredible and these few words can never express our sincere gratitude to them.

There’s NO WAY I will ever be able to thank Jamie and Kerrie enough for making my day as perfect as it was! Everything was seamless. I literally did not have to think about anything at all because they took care of everything for me. They were thorough and asked plenty of questions before my wedding day so that the day of, I wouldn’t be bombarded with questions from vendors or anyone else, because I genuinely could not think about anything else except trying to be calm and present. When one of my bridesmaid’s dresses was too long - they figured out a way to make it work without it looking hodgepodged! I was SO impressed! They are BEYOND sweet and were such a huge comfort to me. I’m a very type A person and organization is what gives me peace of mind, and they were ON IT for every small detail I had planned - they executed. They gave me genuine advice and supported all my decisions. They showed excitement and eagerness to be working with me and that really meant a lot to me. The girls took care of everything even at the end of the night by making sure all our belongings were delivered to our airbnb and that we had water and food to come home to! I will forever be indebted to them as they really made my dreams come true and I couldn’t ever imagine my wedding day without them! Thank you SO much Jamie and Kerrie for being everything to me!!

Jamie and Kerrie were an absolute joy to work with, and were an integral part of making sure I had the best wedding ever. I live in San Francisco, and had no friends or family in New Orleans, so their recommendations for vendors, as well as being available for any questions I had was invaluable (and there were a LOT of questions).

The day of the wedding they had a team of 4 (wow!) that made sure everything ran smoothly, and that everything ran on time. Any problems that arose, they handled swiftly and without reaction, so I was able to stay calm and just enjoy the big day. They are so sweet and easy to work with, highly communicative, and extremely professional. And, they are an amazing value: for less money than other planners you get both of them (plus their team) with unlimited communication before the wedding. I would work with them again in a heartbeat, and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in NOLA!

I can't even begin to say enough positive things or recommend Kerrie and Jamie enough! These ladies are TREMENDOUS! From the beginning, Kerrie and Jamie were there for us. We were planning from out of town and they allowed us to ship so many things to them so we wouldn't have to fly with it all. As an out of town bride, they had so many great suggestions and advise along the way. They recommended vendors and were even there to problem solve with us when we ran into a few unexpected vendor cancellations and crises. They were prompt in all communications and made us a beautiful day of timeline. They did so much for us the day of the wedding that I'm not even sure that I really noticed it all. These ladies kept us on schedule, organized the vendors, set up things at the ceremony and the reception, kept us calm, brought us drinks, and even fixed my future mother in laws necklace when it broke! We also realized in the chaos of the day that we forgot our marriage certificate back at the hotel! Without even blinking an eye, they were off to run back and grab it for us. They even managed to get all of our things neatly boxed up and back in our hotel room for the evening. They were the glue that held our wedding day together. I give them all of the credit for making our day so perfect and can't even begin to thank them enough.

Jamie and Kerrie were hands down the absolute best!!! I don’t even think going over and beyond even touches how professional and AWESOME they are! They compliment each other so well! They are the ultimate team! You have to pick them if you are trying to choose! You will not be sorry! Could not have had my wedding day go smoothly without them! They have the eye for the special touches, they will think of literally everything, they will keep you SANE! Best in the bizzz for sure! Love those girls so much!

All you need is love and the Girls in Black!! It really is so true! We hired GIB for day of coordination and nothing was too small for them to take care of so we could enjoy being bride and groom. They not only made sure we had everyone we needed as bride and groom but also made sure our families were well taken care of. They handled the timeline and organizing our vendors so seamlessly. As soon as they stepped in, we got to take a deep breath and take a step back. Jamie and Kerrie are so professional but still had us laughing all day! We have so much love and respect for GIB, they felt like family by the end!

It's been a little over a month since our wedding, and I was hoping that I would find a way to put into words how much these girls[in black] mean to me. And there is NO WAY to describe it. Everything that they did - from executing my vision to adding things I never even knew I needed from their vision. They made sure that my husband and I always had a drink in our hand and a smile on our faces. We were in awe that they never lost track of us - they were always aware of where we were and what we needed from. day. one.!

They always communicated clearly and efficiently. I was never concerned that we missed anything because everything was so transparent. Any cost was discussed up front and clearly defined and discussed. Any deadline was explained and forewarned.
