Ginny B's Cakes created our perfect wedding cake!!!
After many unsuccessful wedding cake tastings with other cake companies, a friend recommended and introduced me to Ginny. Not only were her cakes delicious, but she is an awesome person too!!
Our centerpieces had Christmas ornaments so we took Ginny a design for a wedding cake that had fondant balls of various sizes all around it, giving the appearance of small ornaments. Ginny took the design we showed her and perfectly recreated it using our wedding colors - purple and silver. There must have been a couple hundred fondant balls that needed to be made and then painted/airbrushed so I know that a great deal of effort was put into our design and the outcome was amazing!!
Our cake was not only beautiful but delicious too!! The hubby loves Milky Way candy bars so the bottom tier was a triple chocolate chip cake with Milky Way ganache and white chocolate ganache frosting. I love Nutella so the top tier was vanilla bean cake with Nutella filling and buttercream frosting. Our middle tier was almond cake with apricot filling and cream cheese frosting. Ginny makes her own fondant which was delicious and not like your typical fondant.
Ginny has other creations as well - her flower pot cupcakes are super cute, unique and delicious and her cactus cupcakes totally look like real little cacti!! I highly recommend Ginny B's Cakes!!! Thanks Ginny!!!!
