Jon Gerych and his team are literally the best out there. He took my vision and inspiration and made it a million times better than I could have ever imagined. Jon and his team were responsive, dedicated, hardworking, and so amazing to work with. I had a destination wedding and he made the process seamless and stress free. When I walked into the reception room for the first time, my breath was taken away. Everything from the rehearsal dinner, to the ketubah, to the cocktail hour, and the reception room was perfect and beyond my wildest dreams. Go to Jon if you want the most gorgeous, perfect wedding of your dreams!!

I am actually surprised reading the previous reviews. Maybe there has been a changed in management or staff since the previous reviewers? Either way, I would hire Gerych's in a heart beat again and recommend them to anyone planning a wedding...

Gerych's was a on the same page as us throughout the whole process. We wanted our flowers and decor to really surprise our guests. When we walked into our ballroom my husband and I were both moved to tears. It was romantic, dramatic and just breathtaking. Gerych took our exact vision and made it happen. Tammy was fantastic to work with and gave me suggestions for flowers that I wanted, but were either too expensive for our budget or difficult to get in a specific color. She had an answer to every question. My bouquet was a modernized version of my grandmother's and incorporated pieces of an heirloom flawlessly. Our tables were perfection. We got married in Rochester, MI. and staff mentioned to us that our florals and decor are now the ones to beat! We could not have asked for a more perfect floral and decor vendor.

Colleen was fantastic to work with!!! My bouquet was stunning!!! Her suggestions were spot on and I really appreciated her money saving suggestion of purchasing the flower girl petals for the aisle from Costco. I bought 2 dozen roses, one pink and one white and Colleen's assistant broke them all up for us. In case you're curious of the flowers I used for the bouquet and/or boutinniere, I went with white hydrangea, sterling roses, wax flower (for filler) and pink runculus. For the groom, I went with wax flower and violets. I presented white hydrangea single stems to all of the women in my family during the ceremony. I only used floral arrangements for the unity candle lighting ceremony and the family table. All my other tables had a unique glass/metal lantern as the centerpiece and candles inside as well as around them.

I worked with Jon and Brooke on my wedding, and they did the flowers and decor for the entire reception. Their work was flawless. Their design was innovative and EXACTLY what I wanted. They made my vision come to life. They have many things available for rental that can really spice up the decor of an event. I don't know that I would ever consider using another floral/event company for fear that I'd just be disappointed! No joke. It was just one day of our life, but I know that I and many others will be talking about those flowers and the way that venue looked for years. A stunning job. Worth every penny. Bravo!

Beautiful flowers! Colleen was great, super flexible, very kind and amazingly talented! I loved my flowers!!

I also rented chairs from them, which were very nice. They have a large selection of rental stuff, but they are slightly over priced.

Although costly, they were the only tent/table/chair vendors we could find who would set up and take down the same day. My consultant was very knowledgable, although she was more inclined to care more about having "the best" and less about the cost, which was contrary to my philosophy.

I can't say how awful my flowers were. Every single detail was wrong. The colors were wrong, they covered the flowers with greenery when I specifically said NO greenery, they even delivered the wrong kind of flower. The cake flowers were also wrong. The worst part is that no one even followed up with me, they must have known they did a bad job. I wish I could have at least been warned if they were unable to get my correct flower. Plus, they charge an arm and a leg.

For our outdoor reception, we used Gerych's for our rentals (tent, tables, linens, place settings, etc.), flowers, and decor. While the quality of their items and work was good, their customer service was quite poor. I did not feel like my opinion was important to them, there was a lot of miscommunication, and they did not act professionally. Our reception was beautiful in the end, but there was a lot of headache and heartache leading up to it because of several difficult personalities. I wouldn't use them again.

I was extremely excited Gerych's was on my recommended vendor list. I called and put what I thought was a $200 deposit to hold the date, which the email they sent me confirmed. My fiancé and I sat down with someone to discuss rates and what we needed. There were some things we weren't sure on (arrangements and some centerpieces) but they didn't have enough to do a draft quote. I went back a month later without my fiance with a laundry list of everything I wanted, and brought pictures to use as inspiration. I was told to expect a quote shortly. Almost a month later I got a quote, with nothing saying when anything needed to be paid. I then heard nothing from Gerych's for over two months. I emailed them a laundry list of things I wanted to take off the quote. I hadn't heard anything after a week, so I called. I was assured that my coordinator would call me back. After another few days without a call back or a return email, I called again. I was told that my $200 deposit didn't actually hold my date, and that only putting half down on the quote that was emailed to me would do that. I did finally get a call back that day. To echo other brides, unless you have an unlimited budget, or are okay with paying upwards of $150 for a simple bridesmaid bouquet, steer clear. Just glad we didn't pay a deposit we couldn't get back.

When we went to the flower shop to view what rental items we needed everything went pretty smooth for the most part. We needed a tent to fit about 400, tables and chairs. The prices weren't so bad but it was also very hard to find such a large tent that wasn't outrageous to begin with. And they had that amount of tables and chairs as well. They were nice enough on our first visit as well. They showed us pictures but said that the tent that we would actually be renting was not in the book. It was to be a brand new tent with lots of peaks (kind of like a white circus tent). From that time on we had a hard time reaching them. Whatever day it was supposed to be there, it was a day late. Oh, and it wasn't new. There were only 4 peaks which is not what we thought of as a lot. They send their own men to put the tent up so that it is done properly. Well, when they put the sides up, they didn't meet up the way they were supposed to. There was a gap which was right behind where our head table was going. We called them back out (which took forever) to fix the first problem. Then when the wind picked up a little, we had to call them again because they didn't stake it down in some places. In the end, it looked great to our guests, but not what we were promised. Especially in the service department.
