We used the Georgia Tech Conference Center for our pre-wedding mehendi event and welcome dinner. We also had our hotel block here and got ready for our wedding in the suites. Edie and Uli were SO easy to work with and super accommodating of our needs. In hindsight, we wish we had had our wedding here as well given how easy it was to work with them. If you're booking an Indian wedding and have a need for multiple spaces, a hospitality room, outside catering, etc., do not hesitate to book Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.

We loved working with the Georgia Tech Hotel. The staff is so remarkable and very creative. Tim Barrett went above and beyond to help set everything up for us and he made sure it all went smoothly. We even had a private room to enjoy our dinner together. I can't thank them enough for doing such a wonderful job for us! It's worth the money to have a reception at the hotel!

Janice was fabulous to work with in the beginning and we thought she was very fair in negotiating the smaller items. My main complaint is that the hotel was very busy the weeks leading up to our wedding so it was tough to get her attention and nail down our details 2 – 3 weeks in advance. Eventually everything was done well and exceeded our expectations, but it took quite a bit of follow up in that last week by me. But at heart, Janice wanted nothing but the best for our wedding. We had originally planned to have the ceremony outside in the courtyard, but the weather moved us inside. I never wanted a hotel wedding, but it was very beautiful. Everyone worked hard behind the scenes to recreate all the details to bring the outdoor wedding in.
The GT ballroom is the most beautiful hotel ballroom in town, in my opinion. The ceremony was in half the ballroom and after guests moved into the hall for the pre reception. The hall was spacious and guests could move outdoors as well for drinks and food. The ballroom was set for dinner and was amazing. The food was outstanding!!! Everyone loved the stations and it was some of the best as well as hot wedding food I have ever had. My only complaint about the location was the person who is able to dim the lights went home during dinner and we had to wait for him to come back to have the lights turned down. But in all fairness, at least he came back.
