I had no clue what i wanted at all for my bridal bouquet. I got in touch with Karyn, who was so responsive over email (I'm in Buffalo so couldn't go in) and had me send her some inspiration pictures of what I might like. After two hours of scrolling through pinterest and the like, I found 3 photos that each had some aspect of what I liked, but weren't exactly what I wanted. I sent Karyn the photos and described what I liked and didn't like about each one. It wasn't very long at all before she responded with "I've got the perfect design." I was skeptical just because I didn't even know what I wanted, so how could she? Lol. But just take a look at the pictures. I don't know how she knew, but it was absolutely perfect, I couldn't believe how beautiful something was that I myself didn't directly design (Type A bride). On top of that, they all came in vases to keep them fresh until they were ready to be carried down the aisle. Thank you Karyn!!

I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience with Genesee Valley Florist for my wedding. Karyn was responsive and knowledgeable about the types of flowers and cost considerations, able to provide a wide range of products from floral crowns to bouquets to decorating my archway on the day of. When my wedding had to be postponed due to Covid she was willing and able to move to the following year. The cost of flowers was much more reasonable than other florists I had to later work with as a maid of honor. Overall as a well known gardener myself I felt so proud of the work she did and my guests loved the flowers and the artistry she created

I emailed Karyn a picture of my floral inspo and she executed it so amazingly. The colors and flowers she chose were perfect for our whimsical fall garden vibe. Definitely book her if you want your floral dreams to come to life 😍

Karyn at Genesee Valley Florist is an artist. When we met to discuss the flowers for our June 2022 backyard wedding, I shared my vision of wanting it all to look very organic, not particularly manicured or formal. I talked about the colors I liked, a few flowers I liked and shared a few photos from her Instagram as inspiration.
Other than that, I told her I was in her hands and wanted her to just do what she does best and everything turned out beautifully -- what I had imagined but maybe could not express exactly in words. It's quite remarkable.
Karyn made the whole process easy, she is a lovely human and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I worked with Karyn to come up with my wedding flowers. I know next to nothing about flowers and based on pictures I showed her of what I like, pictures of my venue and the colors of my bridesmaid dresses she came up with the perfect flowers that went with everything even better than I could have imagined!

I was a student and employee at SUNY Geneseo and always loved Karyn’s floral shop. Years later, I just hired her for my wedding florals and her work was absolutely stunning as well as affordable. She didn’t bat an eye at delivering to Rochester and I was so pleased! Our bouquets could not possibly have been more beautiful, and my tablescapes were exactly what I pictured in my head. Karyn was wonderful to work with and had amazing flowers for an affordable price! She was very flexible and understood our vision perfectly. All of the arrangements were absolutely beautiful and they lasted a while after our wedding day!

In the Geneseo area, it was difficult trying to find vendors. Genesee valley florist made planning from an hour away such an easy task. Working with Karyn was a breeze, she was able to email me with any questions or concerns that we wanted for our big day and vice versa. So happy we chose them for our wedding!

I will say, Karyn is the amazing, and most reasonably priced florist I could find! She has done three of my cousins wedding, mine, and a friends next year, and each time she does a great job! I showed her pictures of what I wanted, and she made my dreams come true! She did everything from ceremony space, cocktail hour, reception, and all the bridal party flowers! I got my bridal bouquet, a toss bouquet, 8 bridesmaids bouquets, 13 boutineers, 5 corsage's, flower petals, floral crown for flower girl, aisle swag, two 8-foot garlands, flowers for the wedding cake, and greenery for 18 tables. All of this cost $1,350 and included tax and travel costs. You seriously cannot find a better deal out there!

Karyn from Genesee Valley Florist did an absolutely amazing job putting together our wedding florals! I don't know much, if anything, about flowers and we were not local so it was incredible that she was able to take a few photos I sent over email and quick descriptions of what I was thinking (most of which was focused on what I didn't like!) and turn it into the perfect arrangements. She also was super conscious about working within our budget and she came up with a creative idea to use two arrangements from the ceremony as centerpieces for our reception which worked perfectly. Finally, she worked with our cake vendor to coordinate drop off so that she could add the florals we requested on our cake and also styled our arch expertly. We got so many compliments on our florals and they felt so "us" but I felt like I hardly lifted a finger the entire process! I highly, highly recommend Genesee Valley Florist!
