Jamaica wedding July 20

Working with GCG was very smooth as their event coordinator was white responsive once engaged. They kept us up to date along the way and provided excellent customer service. On the day they ensured to provide the food service ready on time, despite some venue challenges. The guests enjoyed the food as well and the portions were generous.

I found out about Goddard when I went to a wedding expo (Kingston Bridal Week) , where I met Mrs. Ramsey, who was very knowledgeable and worked out several menu options within minutes after listening to my vision for my wedding day. After that I remained in contact with Cherish Douglas, who was always polite, helpful, responsive and very flexible to my ever changing requests and worked with me to keep on budget. From start to finish Goddard showed an exemplary level of professionalism and always made me feel like I was a special client, their head chef came to our site visit to walk me through all that they would do on the wedding day..and even came to check that all went well on the actual day, despite being on vacation!! Now onto their food, it was delicious and my new husband and I were not disappointed! The steak... which is a favourite of my husband and I, did not disappoint, flavourful and moist. My guests kept telling me on the day of the wedding how good the food was over and over again and that they couldn't stop eating and how full they were:)) I would recommend Goddard to any and everyone. And I look forward to having another event... any event, so that I could use their services again. Thanks GCG and a special thanks to Cheridah! :)))

Usually caterers say it was a pleasure to serve you but we must say (since we were the event planners) that it was a pleasure to work with GCG Events. They truly lived up to their motto of being Simply Oustanding and the overall experience of their service was as close to perfection as we would have wanted. Jasmin and Cheridah not only operated with a high level of efficiency but initiative as well, from the very beginning with Event Planning to seeing the entire event through. Communication was excellent and Responses were quick. They were Pleasant, Calm, Professional and offered great suggestions as well. All of this was topped off by excellent quality of Food and Service. GCG Events is fully equipped with their trucks for refrigeration/cooling, storage, warming and will have live cooking stations. Bartenders must also get special kudos for remembering the drink of choice for our guests. THANK YOU GCG Events!
We would have GCG Events cater for any future events we host again in a heartbeat.

Wedding Time Service

So, I went to GCG Catering at the airport a year early to taste test the food and see what they had. A year later at my wedding the Service was top of the line. Their servers were all around for my cocktail and reception giving guests all their attention. Loved the cocktail hour food. Some of the food at the reception was not as good as the taste test. We requested jerk chicken breast and got grilled chicken with jerk sauce on it, which is a major difference if you know Caribbean food. i did love the curried goat and fish. I heard the mashed potatoes were good, but sadly, i didn't get any. Overall though, i would recommend them for an event. I worked with Cheridah, who was very understanding, responsive and flexible with my many requests, as a stressed and involved bride.

I hired GCG for my wedding in Runaway Bay. Cheridah is a wonderful person who is very responsive every step of the way. The day of my wedding the staff were very professional and had great customer service. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is for the fact that I feel they are all about money and not so considerate. When I first spoke to Cheridah, she said they always have five plates of extra serving. I paid for 80 people but forgot to include the videographer, photographer and DJ so there were no more plates available so my husband asked if they can wash three plates and serve them, Cheridah tells my husband he has to pay for it (but she told me previously they serve extra in case there are more guests) which was very disappointing to me when they had extra food that they were going to probably through away and I saw the staff eating what I paid for instead of satisfying our request, smh. The quality of the food was ok to me however, she did warn me that I was going to need a generator for the food to be spectacular but considering what I was already paying them for 80 guests (which was pretty pricey) I couldn't afford a $1,200 generator. I'm not sure what my guests thought about it, I just seen a lot of full plates thrown away. Nevertheless, the staff was great in their professionalism and attentive which is more important but I will not contract them again.
