GCG Events understands every couple has their own tastes and preferred cuisine. Every service begins with a personalized approach and an initial consultation to discuss the creation of the couple’s customized menu that suits their vision and theme. GCG events is a full-service catering provider, services include delivery, setup, clean-up, cocktails, reception service, dessert, servers, tastings, fine china, flatware, and glassware. Additional services are available and can include venue finding, event planning, bar services consisting of several premium liquors, beers, wines, cocktails, and bartenders.
Cuisine
Our cuisine is Inspired by dishes from around the world, our chefs can create many different types of cuisine including Caribbean, Italian, Greek, French, Chinese, Seafood, and more. All dishes are made using local and fresh produce and can accommodate guests specific dietary requirements including nut-free, vegetarian, kosher, and no pork. No matter what the event's style and theme, We can prepare and present a delectable display and palatable cuisine . We offer and are not limited to :

Chef Schweizer is Jamaican at heart but he was born in Switzerland and discovered his love for cooking from his uncle, who had a restaurant in Geneva, Switzerland and recognized very early on that he wanted to be a Chef.
His journey began in the 1980’s with a three-year apprenticeship program in Switzerland. Thereafter he travelled throughout Switzerland to learn the various cuisines and languages, firstly to Geneva where he learned French and classical French Cuisine, then to Locarno where he learned Italian and Italian Regional Cuisine. His journey then took him to Los Angeles, California and eventually his final destination, and now home for more than 25 years, Jamaica.
In Jamaica, Chef Schweizer has held various positions as Executive Chef at locations such as Morgan’s Harbour Hotel,
Temple Hall Estate, Plantation Inn and for the past 20 years, GCG Catering Group.
He has been featured at events such as Epicurean Escape, Taste of Jamaica,12 Chefs of Christmas Promotion, GCG's Destination Delicious and Jamaica Observer Food Awards to mention a few.
He spearheads the planning of delectable menus for Weddings and Flights by GCG catering which has locations at both Norman Manley & Sangster Int'l Airport.
He is quite an outstanding man to those who know him, fuelled by his passions without any reservation!

Ms. Douglas is a driven, dynamic and passionate event planner and consultant focused on providing solutions for each of her clients.
With over 10 years experience in the events and marketing industry, she has the capability to plan, manage and coordinate events and weddings.
Her experience and skillset allows her to assist with overall planning, catering solutions for any small, large, formal or informal event .
As a supervisor, over the years,she also manages a team of persons to ensure each execution is executed well.
She has experience in project planning, factoring budgets to support the concept of any event.
She is extremely passionate and this energy flows wholeheartedly into any project she is involved in, paying keen attention to every single detail from idea to execution.
She is the lead on any major event execution for GCG events, Jamaica and works closely with Executive Chef Schweizer.
