Natalie and Camille were professional, responsive and very accommodating with our many changes. In fact, we liked them so much we hired them for our bar service as well. The most important part is the food was DELICIOUS and our guests are still talking about it. We also LOVED our signature cocktail that they offered invaluable guidance with creating. The communication we had kept the process smooth and helped alleviate some of the stress of planning a destination wedding. If we had to do it all over again, Caribbean Pantry would still be on our wedding team!

We found Caribbean pantry late in our wedding planning with only six months to the day. They were able to put it all together and not miss a detail. The connected us with the dream team wedding vendors. When we arrived and saw the venue we were more than pleased and it brought my wife to tears. Every thing we asked for was fulfilled and to our satisfaction. Our guests raved about the event. They loved the food, the decor, the service and most of all the specialty Rumpunch. Natalie and Camille were extremely hands on from day one up until the day of the event. Although we were thousands of miles away communication was never an issue. I planned my wedding in Jamaica from Florida and had to change caterers 2 months before my wedding date. I was so nervous about finding a replacement on such a short notice and as soon as I reached out to Caribbean Pantry they responded right away and confirmed that they had availability. Camille worked with me from the beginning to end with my food and bar selection and was accessible to answer every question that I had. She even met with me the day before my wedding at the venue to do a walk-through of where they would set up and was helpful with making suggestions. On my wedding day, the entire staff was very professional, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!!

We, childhood sweethearts, got married in Jamaica mid December 2018. Natalie and Camille of Caribbean Pantry handled the planning and catering. We knew we had chosen the right wedding planners when, after telling our love story, Camille exclaimed, - “a quintessential love story!” She had captured in one expression what we mean to each other! We wished for that very sentiment to permeate and color every aspect of our wedding day. And they made it happen!

When we met Natalie and Camille, we were concerned that we only had 2 months to plan our garden and rooftop wedding. Our fears vanished after the first two meetings when we came to realize the strength of Natalie’s and Camille’s combined experience, expertise, and great connections on the island. Our confidence grew even more as we met with and observed the professionalism of those they recommended to play important roles in our wedding: the minister, DJ, decorator, photographer/videographer and so on.

If there was one moment when our confidence would have been shaken, it was when a sudden, unexpected flash flood erupted the evening before our wedding - soaking the garden and almost covering the rooftop. Before the full implications of the flood soaked into our psyche, Natalie and Camille were knocking on our door. Realizing that we were not 100% happy with the plan B we had agreed to in our previous meetings, the two amazing ladies came up with a Plan C that, with the skillful artistry of decorator, Jadie of The Plush Touch, transformed our garden and rooftop into the perfect wedding venue.

Our guests were not only impressed with the decor and ambiance, they also raved about everything served at our cocktail hour and reception. They kept coming up to us to tell us how delicious it all was! Little did they know that everything was gluten-free! We are forever grateful to Natalie for engaging her excellent culinary skills to seamlessly manage our food allergies without compromising the flavor and awesome taste of the food we love.

From the day of our food tasting to the day of our wedding, Caribbean Pantry had been a 10 out of 10 for service, flavor, bar offerings, and anything else you could possibly think of. Our wedding had quite a number of guests with very specific dietary restrictions, allergies, and lifestyles. Natalie, Camille, and the entire Caribbean Pantry team did not disappoint nor neglect any of our guests. Our hors d’oeuvres were, ackee puffs (AMAZING and pescatarian friendly), stamp & go (AMAZING and pescatarian friendly), bacon wrapped plantain (AMAZING and gluten-free friendly), and honey garlic wings (AMAZING and fish allergy friendly)! Our delicious dinner menu consisted of the following: honey jerk chicken, escoveitched fish fillet, Asian style roast pork (with crispy succulent skin), rice and gungu peas, stir fry vegetable medley, coconut shrimp (small portion requested for the pescatarians), tossed garden salad, and Jamaican coleslaw. Our dessert station consisted of: citrus cheesecake, tropical fruit platter, and assorted Jamaican pastries. Caribbean Pantry was nice enough to cut up our wedding cake and add it to the dessert table for us as well. For cocktail hour, we had a rum punch (don’t sleep on this rum punch because it’s stronger than it tastes), water, and fruit punch. After cocktail hour, we had an open bar for the remainder of the evening, which went over very well! Our guests literally ate EVERYTHING! They each had over 3 servings of food since we chose to do a buffet-style dinner. This is all to say that no one was disappointed by the amount of food, nor were they disappointed by the FLAVOR! We got married at Laughing Waters in Ocho Rios, Jamaica almost a month ago and people are still raving about the food and drinks we had at our wedding. So, here’s the only downside, I was so into the drinks, hors d’oeuvres, food, and desserts that I forgot to take any pictures of the food. I was just too busy eating everything in sight.
However, I did take a few pictures from our food tasting which I can share. I would recommend Caribbean Pantry one thousand times over. Not only do they provide delicious food and service, but they also provide smiles, hugs, and plenty of laughs. We will never regret utilizing their catering services. They listened to the bride's wishes and worked within our budget very efficiently. When we were looking for a wedding planner we wanted one person to communicate with, Caribbean Pantry was it. We were planning a Jamaican wedding from Canada. I can't say enough about Caribbean Pantry in responsiveness, professionalism and delivery! They worked with other extremely professional groups for Music, Flowers and Decor, Cake, Hair and makeup and even last minute nails.
