Their 2,350 square-foot Yellow Rose Ballroom is the most intimate onsite wedding venue space. Our Perfect Day!

We came to the Gaylord after having to cancel with our original venue due to COVID-19. We have always loved the Gaylord and it holds a special place in our hearts since it is where we went on our first date and where we got engaged. The coordinators and staff were so helpful and accommodating and made sure everything was taken care of from wedding day coordination to room blocks for our friends and family! We will cherish our day forever and look forward to coming back and staying here so we can reminisce on our perfect day!

Everyone at the Gaylord made this day wonderful. They treat you like a VIP. We were so happy we choose the Gaylord for the wedding. They made sure everything flowed perfectly. I highly recommend them

We had our wedding at the Gaylord in October. Everything was amazing from the planning stages all the way to morning after. Laura was incredible every step of the way and was more that willing to help whenever she could. Planning the event with her was a breeze, and she had a plan for everything - even thought of things that wouldn't have even crossed my mind! The tasting for the catering was a one of a kind experience and we had so much fun! The wedding weekend was out of this world and all of the staff made it the perfect time. The catering staff the night of were great and were constantly making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks so much for an amazing wedding!

Had a really small wedding/reception (27 guests!) at the Mission Plaza in the Gaylord Texan. IT WAS GORGEOUS!!! The atrium is so beautiful, and we really didn't have to do that many flowers because the atrium already has so much right there. Ryan at the hotel was my go-to guy for the whole thing, and he was fantastic. He even stayed for most of the reception to make sure things were going smoothly. We had the Gaylord do our food (cheese plate, hors d'oeuvres for right after the ceremony, then a seated three course meal) and wedding cake, and everyone was really impressed. I was especially impressed with the wedding cake because it was delicious and beautiful!
The Plaza was perfect for our small wedding, and the wait staff was very attentive. It was kind of fun to be the center of attention for the whole hotel, because even though our area was roped off, we still had lots of on-lookers. They even gave us dressing rooms for during the day, and an AMAZING suite for the night -- including chocolate covered strawberries and champagne! While it was a little pricey (definitely not a place for the cheap!), you get what you pay for, and it was worth every cent.

We used the Gaylord for a get-away vehicle and a night-of hotel. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with huge smiles and congratulations – and an upgraded room (to a Presidential Suite!!) because we were newlyweds. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. I just wish that we had longer to stay!

The Gaylord is an amazing place to just hang out and have some fun but even MORE amazing to have a wedding! The beauty of the natural feel was perfect for me! The rocks, greenery, and water made it feel like we were outside. The set up they have for the weddings are prefect as well. I had my wedding at the Yellow Rose Ballroom. The courtyard area is where we were actually married which connected right to the ballroom which is where the reception was held. Very convenient. They catering services were nice as well. The food was AMAZING and the wait staff were very polite. If you use this loaction as your wedding venue I would highly recommend using Tristan Jumper as your coodinator and Shanna Marko with The Organized Event. They were SO helpful in making sure the flow of the wedding went perfectly... which it did!! GREAT place for family needing to fly in from out of town as welll. It is conveniently located close to the DFW airport and has a bus that goes back and forth to the airport. Overall I was very satisfied with this location for its beauty and convenience for my guests!

The beauty and elegance of the Gaylord speaks for itself, and with our wedding being two days after Christmas, the hotel decor (inside and out) was emaculate. My fiance and I are both military and had to do most of the coordination while deployed. Tristan was very helpful, and worked with us every step of the way. From the moment we checked into the hotel, the hospitality of the staff made us feel like royalty. The only annoyance was the crowd of visitors that were there to see the Ice display they put on every year. Our wedding rehearsal was a little difficult, but on the day of the wedding, they blocked off each area leaving access only to our guests.

They posted signs along the way to the ceremony to let people know which way to go. Our wedding was in the area in outside of the Yellow Rose Ballroom. We had 120 guests, and they were seated with plenty of room to spare in that area. The cocktail hour was in Mission Plaza, which was blocked off and allowed our guests to enjoy the view of the atrium and socialize. The reception was in the Yellow Rose Ballroom, which was decorated using a vendor that Tristan referred, and some items that were provided by the Gaylord. The food was DELICIOUS and the whole atmosphere was incredible. I can't even begin to describe the honymoon suite. It's basically a condominium. A decked out, fully loaded condominium, and we only wished we didn't have to catch a 6 am flight to Jamaica the next day. It's well worth the extra few hours the hotel gives you to enjoy the room.

I am fresh off of my honeymoon, so I'm still in a daze.
I never fantasized about my wedding for years as most girls/women do, but I must say, the Gaylord Texan truly gave me my perfect fairytale, elegant, fabulous wedding and I will always remember that day. World Class facility and staff, well worth the investment.

I had less than a month to plan my wedding due to a pending overseas move, and all it took was one phone call to the event planning office at the Gaylord to get set up with our own wedding planner, Tristan. She handled everything quickly, professionally, and perfectly. We had a very small wedding of 25 guests and used one of the Appaloosa event rooms in the Lonestar Tower, which was just right.

I can't overstate how incredibly classy and luxurious the entire setup was! My goodness. They set up the room for the wedding and as soon as it was over, we were all able to stand out in the private lobby area where the food and mobile bar were located to do our toasts, while the staff very quickly removed the ceremony setup and installed the reception tables, complete with candles, music, and everything else. The food catering was the nicest I've ever seen, the catering staff were dressed impeccably and treated me like a princess throughout the 3-hour reception, the bartender for our open bar, LoriAnn, was absolutely wonderful, and before we were finished with the reception, two of the hotel managers came by to ask me how everything was and if there was anything else they could do. I was truly floored by the whole thing, honestly. All of our guests were amazed and so was I. It was worth every single penny.

We had originally booked a regular room to stay the night but as soon as we signed on to have the wedding there, the Gaylord bumped us up at no extra charge to one of the huge suites, which was absolutely astonishing. I think it was bigger than my house! I was also given a free room before the ceremony to change and get ready, and the bellhops moved all my stuff up to the wedding suite during the reception.

I could rave about the entire experience all day long but suffice to say, I am utterly thrilled that I had my wedding at the Gaylord and I don't say that lightly. Tristan and all her staff were excellent and I'll recommend them to other engaged couples a hundred times over.

The Gaylord Texan was the venuw for my ceremony and reception, and also provided the reception catering. My wedding had to be relocated to Dallas due to Hurricane Ike, and recieving notice less than a week before the big day, the Gaylord Texan was willing to accomadate my wedding. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, the food was amazing, and the venue was absolutly beautiful. We got a much better value in terms of the venue and the food than we would have had the location of our wedding not changed due to Hurricane Ike.
