Our family was very impressed with the kind and excellent staff. The communication was perfect. Words can not say how beautiful Gathered Oaks is. We got married at Gathered Oaks about 2 weeks ago, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The farmhouse, grain bins, and venue were pristine. We aren't from the area so a lot of our guests hadn't been to the venue, and we got sooo many compliments about how beautiful of a spot it was. Tessa and the whole staff were so wonderful to work with throughout the entire process! She made planning a wedding through COVID as stress free as it could be :) If I could give it 100 stars, I would.

I have dreamed of my wedding day since I was 6 years old and Gathered Oaks was everything I dreamed of and so much more. Every detail from my first look at their website to opening our gift from gathered oaks a week after our wedding was absolute perfection. I truly could not have imagined a better venue and would not have changed a single thing. Tessa and Andrew are absolutely wonderful people and were incredible to work with and made every detail so easy. I try to convince everyone I know to get married at Gathered Oaks so that #1. They can have as wonderful of an experience as we did and #2. so that we will have a reason to go back to this spectacular venue! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for providing a venue that not only made our wedding day perfect but also feels like home.

Gathered Oaks was one of the earliest decisions we made for our wedding and probably the best one. We actually booked Gathered before they were even built! We visited the property and loved talking with Tessa so much that we just fell in love with the idea of getting married there! The property/grounds are incredibly beautiful and well maintained. There is space for everything you should need. Tessa and Andrew are incredible to work with. Tessa responded promptly to every question I had (even the silly ones) and helped with anything she could. They also made the day of very easy. They don’t have a day of coordinator, but there is always someone from Gathered to go to if you need anything! They put a drink back on their special cocktails that they had taken off just for our wedding! The inside of the barn was a cool retreat from the end of June heat. There was space for everyone. Downstairs was a nice retreat for those who maybe wanted a quieter space during the dance and plenty of space for dancing upstairs. Our night was perfect and a lot had to do with the setting. The grounds also offer a lot of space for different backdrops for photos. And now it has gotten even better because since our wedding they had added several different beautiful lodging options on site! If you want a beautiful, elegant, rustic barn wedding you HAVE to pick Gathered Oaks. You will not be disappointed!

Gathered Oaks is one of the most beautiful venues. They have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony area, a dreamy and spacious barn for the reception and awesome lodging available for convenient stay on site.
Although the venue does not take much decor to look perfect, they have amazing decor rental options to make everything convenient for your day
Tessa was flexible with meeting times, so supportive with our ideas and motivated to make our wedding day perfect!

We did the Thursday-Friday package so we were able to set up and rehearse Thursday from 3-7. And then Friday for ceremony and reception 8am-1am.
Tessa and her husband (forgive me I am terrible with names) are wonderful! Their place is amazing! It was truly a dream come true! We had an outside ceremony that was well shaded and had the backdrop of the beautiful lake. They provided us with an arch that we decorated. They also set up all the benches for the ceremony and took them down. They also had a beautiful, cement/stone path down to the ceremony cited, from the barn/reception area. There is also a gorgeous fireplace in the down stairs if the barn you can get married in front of if you want an indoor ceremony. Tessa was always quite fast with responses to my many emails, packed with many questions! When our date was over a year away her responses weren't as fast, which is totally understandable. But the closer the date got, the quicker the responses, even on the same night a week before the wedding! We couldnt find a time to meet for our final consultation (you get two) so she gave me her personal phone number and we chatted over the phone and went over everything.
They have A LOT of a la carte items to choose from! We chose only a few: ivory lanterns to add to our centerpieces, golf cart service for the ceremony to help haul guests, unlimited NA's for all our guests, cafe lighting, a trellis above the head table to decorate, music during our ceremony, and reserved signs.
The reception/barn is totally gorgeous. It's so hard to describe the whole venues its beauty, let alone the barn. There are 3 floors, the main floor where the tables, head table, buffet, and dance floor was for our wedding. The place seats 250+ and we only had 120. Then theres a little left area that can be seating for a large wedding, but for ours we used it for our photo booth. Then downstairs is the bar, two bathrooms, there is one main floor bathroom, a fire place, and cocktail tables. The main floor also has balconies with cocktail style tables and a staircase that leads down to the patio area. There is also a fire fit with complimentary wood and benches to sit on.
To get ready in, there is a bridal suite, which is a cute little barn right next to the main barn. The lighting for the mirrors isnt great, but doable. There is also a bathroom. The boys get ready in a newly built/redone grain bin!

They also converted more grain bins into places for people to stay in. Also you can rent the entire house which has 11 rooms. We didnt rent any of those out because we only lived 30 mins away, and most of my family camped at a nearby campground.
For the barn, we didnt have to do much decorating because it was already gorgeous on it's own! We did centerpieces, signs for gifts and cards, a donut wall, some other cute, wedding signs, and a photo booth.

All in all AMAZING! we got compliments all night! We were asked how we found this place! Everyone couldnt believe how gorgeous and perfect it was! Tessa ans her husband were there the day of too, to make sure everything went smoothly. They even had a hostess, Mary, who was also super amazing, friendly, and kind! I cant say enough about everyone and everything! So magical!

We LOVED our experience with Gathered Oaks! Tessa, Andrew, and Mary were amazing!! From start to finish, they made the entire experience simple and stress free. This venue is naturally beautiful just the way it is, but we opted to rent some extra decorations from Gathered Oaks. They were rustic and elegant and the cost was reasonable. Their a-la-carte menu has a variety of extras to choose from. The ceremony site is beautiful near the lake and we were able to use their golf cart to help some of our older guests get down to the site. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and much of that perfection was due to Gathered Oaks and it’s staff. Thank you again for a special day that we will remember forever!

Gathered Oaks is exactly where you want to be on your wedding day! It's the perfect combination of cozy and fun!

My husband and I were lucky enough to get married there during their first summer season. They were such pros you would never have known that it was their inaugural season!

There are so many breathtaking spots on their grounds to photograph your big day. I LOVE the sunset shot we got there-which is evident by the five framed pictures of it around our house!

Gathered Oaks is breathtaking. You really don't even need to decorate the place (in my opinion). The owners Tessa and Andrew are a breath of fresh air and it was a joy to work with them. They are almost more excited for your wedding day then you are. They were incredibly professional, genuinely cared, gave attention to detail and were great to all of our family and friends. I wish we could get married every year, just to be at Gathered Oaks and work with them again. I have been to a lot of venues and this one tops the cake! No thinking required! Book now!
