Gather Events made our event! They were so helpful and responsive. On our wedding day they set up everything perfectly, the flowers were beautiful. They were there with anything i needed and made the day feel stress-free.

Olivia and her team were so phenomenal. I want to shout it from the rooftops about how incredible they are. I used Gather for planning and floral. We were part of the Covid reschedule/cancellation and Olivia went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process. When the time came to re-plan everything, she was ready to go. She was great with communication and help along the way.
The true magic happened the day of the wedding, true magic. I’ve had my hand in large event planning and the way their team came together, step by step, was incredible!! Seeing our vision come to life was epic and I know all of the little details that came into play for that.
I keep describing our day as “perfect” because I can’t think of a better word and I know that it wouldn’t have gone that way without Olivia and the Gather Events team.

I had quite a long list of preferred vendors that my venue require I choose from. After sorting through, I made a decision that Gather Events was the one for us. What I did not know was how above and beyond they would go and making our wedding incredibly beautiful. Olivia and her team brought every single vision we had to life perfectly. We met several times over the course of the month leading up to the big day and each meeting was so informative and helpful. She answered any questions we had and also understood the stress a wedding WILL bring and helped to ease it. On the day of, she kept everything organized and made sure everyone knew where they needed to be and when. She didn’t miss a beat. We also chose to use Gather as our florist. Best. Decision. Ever. It was like looking into a fairy tail. We couldn’t have been happier.

I cannot say enough positive things about Gather Events and specifically Olivia. From the first day we spoke on the phone until wedding day, she made everything so easy and fun. My son's wedding day was so beautiful and all I did was sit back and enjoy because Olivia took care of everything! She and her team were so professional and friendly and just an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her if you are getting married in the Wilmington area. I was looking for a ‘day of’ wedding coordinator and booked Gather events. Carter was the coordinator assigned for my wedding and she was fabulous - she really went above and beyond. She has a special way of getting everyone organized and in place that seems effortless and took the stress off of me having to organize everything. Not only is she talented with her job, but she is such a sweet person and truly is a joy to be around! My mother and I are so thankful Carter helped us - she was invaluable.

Gather was absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding. They really took the time to listen to what I envisioned and captured exactly what I was looking for with my floral arrangements. Sarah was great when it came time to finalizing all the details, especially when I realized I needed an extra center piece at the last minute. I highly recommend using Gather Events!

There is no possible way an online review can accurately depict how perfect and flawless our wedding day was... allllll thanks to Olivia and her team! But here we go anyways. From the very beginning, Olivia and Gather were all so responsive, personable, and professional. We had a long engagement and Olivia answered every question/concern along the way. I loved how, once a decision was made, I never had to worry about that detail again. She is so organized and on top of every little thing. On wedding day, several of our guests made comments about how smooth everything is and how great of a job Olivia and her team were doing. My husband was absolutely floored with how flawless everything was and I can’t possibly thank her enough for making our day perfect (AND she did all the florals beautifully) Thanks to her, we didn’t have to lift a finger and we were thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed the whole entire day. I highly recommend Gather Events to anyone planning a wedding in Wilmington, NC. They were extremely professional and pleasant to work with from the very beginning, super responsive, and did a beautiful job. Everything from coordination (included last minute changes) and the setup of our venue was high quality and went smoothly. I worked with Carter and Sarah, but the entire team produces outstanding work. I'm still receiving compliments from our guests on how beautiful our wedding was and how much fun everyone had despite the pandemic, and I thank Gather Events completely for that!

I used Gather for Month of Wedding Planner services and as my Florist. I worked with the amazing Olivia and a few of her equally talented employees.

Gather is truly a great deal and very reasonably priced! They provide quality professional support throughout the entire wedding planning journey and their expert skills in design and floral arrangement is unmatched.

Our wedding day ended up being the fairytale dream we had always hoped for but there was an unexpected change in plans. Due to a seasonal hurricane we had to postpone our wedding day. Olivia was extremely supportive through the entire postpone saga. She helped us monitor the storm, communicate with vendors and make a "worst case scenario" plan. When it was time to official postpone the big day Olivia was quick to organize all the changes, advise us on what steps to take and even came back from her vacation early to help make sure everything went off without a hitch on the new date, just two weeks after the original date.

The team transformed our venue into a dreamy fairy garden! Everything was dripping with greenery and flowers. Olivia and the Gather team made every piece of our Monet Garden theme come to life!

My florals were INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. The talented and creative Sarah made all my dreams come true, and far exceeded anything I could have ever dreamed up in my head! Sarah and her team were wonderful enough to talk about our vision both in person and over email, and they just nailed it. And on top of how professional they were, they were just the sweetest and most welcoming people! When we first met with Sarah, I remember leaving that meeting knowing I was in the best hands. She is such an active listener, and you can see her creativity working as she talks with you. On wedding day, they were so hard working, and everything was stunning. I can’t say it enough, when your venue florals look this great, it just makes the whole day so much sweeter!
