I have been going to Gary Charles for my hair for a few years now and my sister used them for her wedding, so there was no where else I would want to use. They were all so great. They did beautiful hair and makeup! They also give some nice treats to have while you wait for your hair and makeup. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Jenn and the makeup staff came in early to do my make up and my sisters make up. (I changed make up places at the last minute!) They had a cheese, crackers and fruit spread for us along with water and juice. The did an amazing job; the make up lasted all night at looked so good. I am so happy with how I looked in the video and pictures!

All of my bridesmaids (6 + 1 junior), my mother, my mother in law, and myself (the bride) all used Gary Charles for hair and make-up for my wedding. We were in and out of the salon very quickly and the staff took great care of us all. Everyone left very happy with their services. There are only 2 negatives that I can think of. 1 was the person who does the wedding bookings (Jen). She does not return calls in a timely manner and she is not very warm. She sort of sets the schedule and you take it or leave it. The second negative would be the cost. I looked on their website so that my bridesmaids could be prepared and the prices that they charged us were $10-15 more per service than they advertise on the website. Other than that, all 10 of us left very happy and our hair & make-up was done very well.

I was overall happy with my hair for my wedding, however, the experience at the salon on the day of my wedding was disappointing. Myself, 5 bridesmaids, and my mother, had appointments at the salon. My mom was placed with the same stylist as me, and my appointment was taking longer than anticipated. I was very picky with my hair and kept asking the stylist to fix things, which she was very nice about, but at the same time, the time was running into my mom's appointment. The mother of the bride should not have been scheduled with the same stylist behind the bride. The stylist noticed this and got another stylist to start helping my mom. At this point, all of the bridesmaids were finished. The girl doing my mom's hair was rushing so much it was embarrassing. When I told her I did not like what she was doing, she had an attitude. At the end, my mom was not happy, she was upset about her hair, and she in no way felt important. The same girl that did my mom's hair, also did one of the bridesmaid's hair, which was also falling out before we left the salon. At the house getting ready, my mom needed multiple people to re-pin pieces of hair that were falling out. I would not go back to this salon because of this experience. We were nothing but a number.
