Quick context: Outside of ordering a few arrangements online for gifts, I had actually never worked with a professional florist before. I have often been one of those folks who doesn't see the point in spending a lot of money on flowers when they are so temporary, but during COVID, I started really appreciating the little burst of color and life fresh flowers brought into the house, and I would pick up a happy little pot or bouquet hear and there on my treks to the grocery store. Then, when we attended our friends' wedding last year, I realized how in love I was with the fresh flowers they used in their ceremony arch and what a difference they made to the feel of things.

While I am normally pretty thrifty and prefer the control and pride that comes with a DIY project well done, I realized that to really do things right and save myself A LOT of stress, it was worth investing in professional services, and I am SO GLAD WE DID. Working with Amanda at Garden Gate Flowers was so great. She was excellent at talking through our burgeoning, but undecided vision for our wedding with lots of succulents and lots of color. With her insights and ideas, things really started shaping up beautifully. I was admittedly still nervous right up until I set foot at the venue, because I have trouble visualizing things, and I also know floral arrangements are dependent on what suppliers have available and what season it is, etc. But when I first got a glimpse of the reception centerpieces and the alter arrangements, I started tearing up. Everything was so beautiful and perfect, and I was absolutely thrilled! They did an amazing job, and I would recommend them to anyone!

Working with their team was such a smooth and easy experience. We met once in person to go over my ideas and what they offered, and they were so accommodating. I also loved that they had candles and cylinders available to rent, which was a nice added touch.

Everything went perfectly on the day of the wedding, and their attention to detail really made everything flow seamlessly.

I cannot say enough good things about Brooke with Garden Gate Flowers. She was so kind, so easy to work with and you can tell she really knows her stuff. She’s incredibly educated on what’s actually in season and what would work best and she took my entire vision board and somehow brought it to life even better than I imagined.

I never once had to worry if something would be done or done correctly because she’s just THAT good. She also went above and beyond for us. When I last minute asked if she could help with florals for our welcome dinner, she didn’t hesitate for a second and handled every request perfectly.
