Freestyle Event Services and specifically Mike helped to make our wedding day memorable, fun and easy!

Mike was the DJ for my younger sister's wedding a year prior to our own, so we already knew he was a good choice for us...but wow, he was the BEST choice.
From the moment we had our first meeting with Mike to the time we were e-mailed the final reception itinerary, it was very clear that he wanted to alleviate any stress, make our wedding day easy for us, and was also committed to making sure it was everything we dreamed of.
I had issues with some of my other wedding vendors not e-mailing back or returning phone calls, but that was NOT the case with Freestyle and with Mike.
Anytime I called the office, the person answering the phone was attentive and helpful. And every time I e-mailed Mike, I had a response within 24 hours--so helpful for a nervous, stressed bride!
We decided to not only use Mike as our DJ but to also use Freestyle to hang string lighting at our reception venue. When I e-mailed Mike to give him the contact info for our venue, he informed me he had already spoken with the contact and had a time scheduled to hang the lighting...impressive!!
Mike was easy to work with and talk to and is a complete professional.
We let him know how important it was to us to make sure everyone was dancing and having a good time, and he delivered! Our dance floor was packed all night!! Not only that, but our reception flowed so smoothly!!
Freestyle was by far one of the best choices we made when choosing our wedding vendors and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for awesome lighting and an incredible DJ!!!

Mike was a great DJ at the wedding. Lighting and service was very good. Plan your ceremony music and timing well in advance. It is a key element of your ceremony.

Freestyle, specifically DJ Jared, were amazing! Jared was our DJ and Freestyle also uplit our venue and did a custom monogram light for our dance floor. The work they did looked incredible. Jared is a phenomenal DJ. We had great communication throughout the process and he was very understanding of our work schedule. I could tell during our meetings that he totally understood our vision and was going to execute it. Our dance floor was full of people dancing most of the night. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!!!

Freestyle was so organized for planning my wedding DJ services. They met with me 3 times before the wedding and had very detailed lists for my husband and I to fill out for exactly what we wanted (music wise) for every second of our wedding. Such exceptional service!

Liz and Mark were absolutely fantastic! We were impressed with the level of detail they went into when it came to understanding our vision for how the day would go. They were very organized and covered every detail they would be involved in which made planning simple and easy on my part. Liz has a way of making you feel so comfortable and even more excited for your special day. I felt completely taken care of and knew I was in good hands from my first meeting with her. The day of the event went effortlessly. Mark knew exactly what to play and when to play it to keep everyone on the dance floor. The music selection was perfect and caught the exact feel for the day we were going for. My only regret is not having another party for them to DJ! Thank you Liz and Mark for making our special day flawless. We couldn't have done it without you!

Freestyle Events did our ceremony/reception music, our pipe and drape and our lighting for our reception. Now, we are not easy clients nor did we have a conventional wedding venue. However, Freetyle knocked it out of the park. Liz (the overseeing manager) was great from the start. Another woman who was there helping during set up (Noelle) was a delight as well. Liz came to see our venue, talked through what was needed and worked with us to create a list of things under our budget. Liz and her team (who were all professional, hard working and kind) did their very best every step of the way. They made sure we were happy and when we wanted things to be changed, they changed it without hesitation. They were set on making sure we were happy and it was a joy to feel this so close to our wedding day. Liz was great about communication with us and did her best to listen to everyone's take on what look we wanted. We loved it. The team was able to set up earlier than expected so we could work through any kinks which we loved. They were flexible and were willing to work long hours (up to 10:30pm!!!) for us. They truly went above and beyond for us. Our venue looked amazing, with tons of draping and with romantic lighting. It was truly perfect and we received many compliments. Liz was also there the entire time during our wedding to make sure things were going okay. This was very sweet of her and we didn't even expect it! Thanks Liz! Our DJ for our ceremony and reception was Mark. We LOVED him. We had given him a list of songs to play for each part of our wedding and he hit everything spot on. He made sure to Skype with us to work out any details, including how long to play our first dance song, etc, and everything went without a hitch our wedding day. He was even receptive to our guests' song requests which was awesome. The dance floor was packed from the start until the last song. He really knew what he was doing and we are lucky to have had him!

Mike did such a great job at our wedding. We met Mike at the SLO wedding expo and was very impressed with the professionalism and willingness to play at our wedding. I did not give him much direction on what kind of music to play as I trusted that he knew the kind of music to get people moving. He did not let us down one bit! He did a great job at keeping the mood positive and the awkward silence that I was afraid of to none! I was very please with the work he did with the lighting as well. Our venue was on the rooftop of a hotel, and he decorated the venue with bulbs that lit up perfectly and romantically in the night. I would highly recommend him as he drove from Bakersfield to Santa Barbara just for us! Thanks Mike for everything!

Mark with freestyle is extremely talented! He did an amazing job!

Emily and I got married recently, and Freestyle did our reception lighting, pipe and drape, and projector setup. We had a special request to match the exact light blue color of our wedding in our reception lighting and Mark at Freestyle nailed it perfectly! They did a wonderful job and it looked amazing.
