Okay, I seriously cannot even put into words how AMAZING the Fort Mitchell team did on our big day and leading up to!

Nikki, my event planner, and I were constantly in contact. Whether it was about food, floor planning, or decorations: Nikki was always on call and ready to answer my questions. I was not just another wedding taking place at the club. I always felt like I was the only bride that she was helping because of her level of attentiveness! Whenever we would meet up, I felt more like I was talking with a good friend than an event planner! She is the best!! :-) Also, this venue does not require you to be a member in order to host an event here!

The Actual Wedding Day:
Note: We did not have our ceremony at Fort Mitchell since we were married in a church.
For the day of, my cake, flowers, and DJ were already set up before I even arrived at the venue with help from Nikki! For the décor, I was able to come in the day before with a group of people to help set up table decorations, card table, and more since there was not an event in our event space that night!

Our bridal party arrived around 3PM to take pictures on the course, and my husband and I were even able to take pictures with one of the golf carts! After this, we had access to the locker rooms to freshen up, and then cocktail hour began with passed hors d'oeuvres.

One thing in particular that Fort Mitchell went above and beyond with was our signature drink. The drink was essentially a cosmopolitan, but we named it after our dog. I felt thankful that we were even able to have a signature drink since some venues don’t allow them, but our bartender offered the idea to color the drink blue since it was our wedding color, and even put edible glitter in it! I said heck yes! To this day, people are still talking about our themed drink and how impressed they were, and many have told me that if they had a specific drink that they liked and were walking towards the bar, the bartender was already preparing it by the time they made it to him!

Jordan was the manager in charge of the actual reception, and she was completely up to date with every single part of our plan! In fact, there was not a point of the whole evening where I had to take the reins of keeping things moving. The food was plated right on time, the cake was plated right on time, every single event that I told Nikki about before the day of was perfectly executed without me having to say a word. Anything that I needed help with was top priority. I never had an empty drink, and was consulted with if something needed my opinion!

The serving staff were absolutely amazing as well. They were all so polite, one even greeted me at then end of the night with a final glass of our signature drink, and complimented me on how well the day went. I was so touched by that moment and I will never forget it! We were able to savor every single second of our reception with friends and family thanks to this great team.

The ballroom looked phenomenal, and so many people complimented us and said that it was the best wedding that they had ever attended!! My husband and I originally wanted our reception to take place in a mansion to make it feel more like a home, but FMCC and the environment exceeded those expectations with the atmosphere they created. I am most definitely biased since it was my own wedding, but I can truly say that it was the best day ever. I would not have changed a thing about it!! Thank you FMCC!!!

Fort Mitchell was such a wonderful venue. They are so very accommodating with everything you could ask for and they bend over backwards to make sure you're stress free on the day of your event. Flexible, professional, kind. LOVED having this venue for the reception of my wedding. 5 stars, would recommend to anyone, especially for those on a budget but still want quality service.

Ft. Mitchell Country Club was a great choice to hold our outdoor ceremony as well as our reception. It worked well to have everything at one location. Their staff was very professional and helpful in planning our event. It ended up we had perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony under their pine trees on the side yard, looking out over the golf course. If it had rained, their staff was ready to pull everything inside for an indoor ceremony. The have a beautiful outdoor gazebo which was available to us during the reception (or ceremony had we wanted to use it). Their Chef was excellent, gave us lots of choices for our food and it was delicious (we opted for food stations, one where they seared scallops to order). We had access to a room where the bridal party was able to do hair, makeup and have lunch. There was also plenty of free parking available. This is an excellent venue in NKY, we loved it and would highly recommend it!
