My Old Kentucky Barn is a wedding venue situated in Williamstown, Kentucky. This 1800s property is beautifully nestled on over 50 acres of private land. This site is brimming with history and intimate, naturalistic surroundings. Couples can escape the hustle of the big city and rejoice in complete harmony as two families become one.
Facilities and Capacity
The barn boasts a lavish, warming exterior that invites you and your guests in. As you walk through the traditional doors, you are transported to a rustic and enchanting environment. This large event space features an array of wooden beams, a stone fireplace, a bar area, and more. This barn can accommodate up to 200 guests and host memorable ceremonies, banquets, and receptions. The expansive barn also includes a preparation kitchen for self-catering, a tranquil Mezzanine, a bridal suite, and a groom’s lounge. The bridal suite is a cozy wooden area that includes everything you need to get ready before you walk down the aisle. This includes multiple mirrors, furniture, and more. The groom’s lounge is a similar-sized get-ready room and features a table, chairs, and more. For those seeking to make the most of the Bluegrass State’s sunshine, the property’s surrounding lawns make for memorable ceremonies and receptions that run long into the night. The lawns have ample room for large tents, seated guests, a spacious dancefloor, and live entertainment.
Services Offered
Upon booking your event at My Old Kentucky Barn, you will receive a range of Chiavari chairs and various sized tables to accommodate loved ones. The venue welcomes couples to work with outside vendors to create the wedding celebration they deserve and have always envisioned. From caterers to florists, you are given complete creative control on how you decorate the barn and its open areas. For further convenience, there is on-site parking for vendors and guests.
History
John Sebree is the current owner of My Old Kentucky Barn in over 180 years. Families have operated and lived peacefully at this far for generations. The longest family to stay here was the Webb Family who detonated some of the land to the south. Steeped in history, this site has the oldest inhabited house in the entire county.
