Vena, owner of Flor de Monterey, made our wedding floral inspirations come to life! She knows what you want even though words cannot fully describe your whole vision. She is one of the vendors working with Wedgewood Weddings, which made it easier to organize everything with our venue and planner. She made my flower backdrop possible, in addition to other unique touches I envisioned for our beach wedding. Thank you Vena, your flowers brightened our wedding venue/celebration! :)

Vena was a gem! I used her for my wedding for ceremony decoration, reception, cake decoration and bridal bouquet. She was honest and to the point. I never felt like she was over charging me. She was out to help me bring my cost down, which was really refreshing in planning a wedding.

I had 13 bridesmaids (yes I'm crazy, I know) so I could not afford to have her (or anyone really) do their bouquets. However, Vena was kind enough to let me purchase the flowers from her and let my and my family create the simple bouquets. I thought this was really lovely since the flowers matched my bouquet.

The arrangements and bridal bouquet were absolutely stunning. She knew exactly what I was going for and nailed it. I am obsessed with wild flowers and dahlias. She mixed the two perfectly.

Vena was our florist from Flor de Monterey for our 6.9.19 wedding in Carmel, CA. We could not have wished for better. We are from Sacramento, so I did my research on almost all florists near Monterey and we met with at least 3 of them. After meeting with Vena, and analyzing everything from the cost to the services she would provide, we were very content and being happy to have Vena. She was easy to work with, flexible, informative, helpful, and reliable. Our wedding was beautiful thanks to her. She did amazing on the arch flowers that were later used as sweetheart center piece, and the aisle mason jar flowers as guest centerpieces as well. Her prices are reasonable and her work is beautiful!

I don't even know where to begin describing how wonderful Vena and her team at Flor de Monterey were for our wedding! We planned everything from out of state, so I emailed pictures and descriptions of what I wanted and Vena nailed it, she was also so easy to work with. She did everything from our cake flowers, to the ceremony floral & centerpieces, as well as our personal (bouquet, bridesmaids, etc.) floral and it was all exceptional! She was one of my favorite vendors to work with during our wedding and I would recommend Flor de Monterey to anyone looking for floral in the Monterey area!

A wonderful experience! Vena was recommended to us by our reception venue and I am so pleased they knew about her talent! My husband and I really wanted to get married in Carmel and we live about 3 hours away but Vena made it feel as if there was no geographical barrier to meeting with her. She was sweet and knowledgeable about flowers. She helped make the ceremony arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, reception table arrangements, and even the small cake flowers perfect. Flor de Monterey has very kind and patient staff as well because when we stopped by the shop everyone was so helpful. Vena keeps your budget in mind and helped us make our wedding day even more beautiful with her creations.

Vera is really nice and definitely willing to work with you to make your vision come to life while staying on budget. She offers really great suggestions and helps you figure out what you want even when you don't know much about flowers. You can definitely tell that she loves what she does. She created the most beautiful bouquet, arrangements, and boutonnieres that I have ever seen!! I wish I'd had enough in my budget to have them preserved after the wedding.

I was extremely shocked at the customer service I received here. I started sending e-mails to vera to make sure she could see what I was looking for. When I went in for a consultation, I had the most fun. She allowed me to skype with my groom as he was stationed over seas. She included him in all of the conversations and was able to show us several arrangements she already created with our images we sent in. She gave us a quote on the spot. We fell in love with her and her shop right away even though it is known as one of the more expensive shops in town. After getting a quote from Vena, I shopped around and found the quote was less expensive than other places. Vena was amazing and created the most beautiful flowers for my centerpieces, my arch piece and my bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids. She was able to make changes a week before the wedding and even allowed me to be creative with my bouquet. I gave Vena free range for the most part especially on my bouquet and everyone loved it. I had so many compliments on the flowers and was asked several times during the ceremony, who did the flowers.

I ordered my bridal white orchids and roses bouquet and a matching boutonniere for my fiance from Flor de Monterey. They delivery was right on time, and my bouquet was beautiful. It was also of a very sturdy design with a practical handle. I could hold it all day and the flowers stayed fresh and in their place.

I love Vena!!! She took care of all the flowers for my wedding at Memory Garden on September 15, 2013. She not only does great work but I really appreciated how she doesn't try to up-sell. She told me "no, you don't need that! keep it simple". She's honest and so friendly!
