Most people look at DJs for weddings and all they really think of are playlists and lights. DJ Jake was so much more than this. Not only did he customize his setup for us with the light coloring and vibe we were looking for, he was able to navigate the night and our families and keep the train running smoothly for the entire ride. We had zero microphone glitches or feedback. He played our playlist that we designed perfectly and threw in his own creative touches that really showed his experience and talent. He brought the energy and had the whole venue bumping from start to finish. He navigated the venue perfectly and used the space so efficiently to where the whole venue was maximized. He worked extremely well with our coordinator and photographers to make sure we were center of attention and every event was hit the way we wanted it to be. He was also very pleasant in the planning process and super easy to work with.
We highly, highly recommend Jake to anyone and everyone.

Jake did a phenomenal job as our wedding DJ! He worked carefully with us to ensure our all of our desires were met. He was very flexible with us and tailored everything to our busy schedule. Additionally, he did an amazing job at splicing our songs and ensuring that the proper versions of our requested songs were played. We went with Jake from Flash and Sound Events for our wedding on 5/16/2026. Jake is absolutely THE BEST and we are so happy we had him as our wedding DJ. He went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. The dance floor was packed all night – which is EXACTLY what we wanted!!! All of our guests had a blast dancing and listening to the jams. We got many compliments afterwards and a lot of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to.
Jake is also very responsive and set up a call with us right away when we were browsing for DJ’s. After we talked with him, we knew he was the guy and we were right! He is also very friendly, fun, and easy to talk to. We sent him some songs we wanted him to play for the night, and he played them. We did not have to worry about the flow of things whatsoever, he took care of the transitions/flow so well. I also loved how he got the wedding party pumped up before their entrances, so fun!!! We literally could not have asked for a better DJ. The wedding was truly one for the books, and a night we will never forget. We will recommend Jake over and over again.
