Flamingo's Flowers is THE go to place!! We were planning our wedding for about a year, so our original sales person no longer works there, but if you don't speak spanish, ask for Romeo and he can take care of you. My wife and I were a little worried about this place because it's in the flower district of Downtown Los Angeles and not exactly a "retail" shop. So we were stopping by checking on our order every month or so.. which is definitely a little annoying for them I'm sure, but they were very patient and accommodating. The prices are super reasonable and they do volume discounts. They know that weddings can be expensive so they worked with us making suggestions for how we could save money (such as taking our arch centerpiece down after the ceremony and placing it on the sweetheart table!) What a great idea and it turned out great. As soon as we left to take pictures during cocktail hour, our wedding coordinator grabbed and moved the flower arrangement.
In terms of flower designs, they can pretty much make anything. There are catalogs in the store to choose some designs, but my wife just printed out ideas that she found online and brought it to them... and they delivered! Everything looked very similar to what my wife had envisioned (and when someone has such high expectations, it can really be hard to meet them). In terms of price savings here, Flamingo's was very patient and explained all of our different flower options to work with our budget.
Anyway, they were right on time with delivery. Everyone loved our centerpieces. And the prices were unbeatable! If you have any type of budget constraints, you have to check this place out!
