Caleb was so great to work with throughout our entire wedding process. From initial planning to the day of to delivering our wedding video, Caleb was great at communicating and answering our questions. He captured so much of our entire day wedding day and did so without anyone really knowing he was there! Our wedding video (with Super 8 footage) is better than we could have ever imagined and perfectly captures both the emotion and fun of our perfect day. Caleb is an absolute joy to work with, and delivered us a timeless wedding video that truly captures our personalities. He was such a calming presence during our wedding day, and was able to capture so many small, wonderful moments during the ceremony and reception. We were hoping to have some drone footage, but due to our city wedding location, it wasn't possible - so Caleb went above and beyond to shoot an extra day with us to ensure that we had some footage. This was the best money that we spent on our wedding!

Caleb produced such a perfect film from our wedding day. Working with Caleb is so easy and effortless - he has a calm, unobtrusive presence on the day of, and he's so thoughtful with his preparation leading up to it. His taste is impeccable. He has an eye for small, amazing details that we didn't even see happening ourselves that day. (For example, he got a shot of us walking in front of an old married couple, who watched us as we passed by, and it's a super sweet juxtaposition.) What I love about Caleb's work is that it's all natural beauty. I hate wedding videos that seem so awkwardly posed and contrived. We told Caleb we wanted a documentary style, where he captured us as we act normally, and he totally delivered. I also love the drone shots he did for us - we saw views of our venue and the woods/stream that we couldn't see ourselves! I would highly recommend Caleb - he was just perfect.

Caleb was amazing and we couldn't recommend him enough! He was easy to communicate with. He asked great questions to get to know us and was proactive about planning and setting expectations. We felt the whole process was organized and clear. He's completely in the background during the day of the ceremony and reception and yet the output is pure creative goodness. The final short film he shared with us far exceeded our expectations. We were immediately transported back to that day and could feel the afterglow of our wedding as we finished watching. First off, THANK YOU SO MUCH CALEB!!! You are truly talented, creative, and have been gifted with an artistic eye. If you’re looking for someone who will capture your wedding/elopement and make you feel like you are there all over again when you watch the video- Caleb is the guy. He captured every detail of the day and made it like our own personal cinematic film. You can tell he loves what he does because he puts his whole heart into making the video, and went up and above my expectations (which is hard to do). He captured our small intimate wedding at a waterfall in Oregon, and the footage he got is amazing. His wedding film is seriously my most favorite part about our wedding… I would have been pretty upset to see our day go by so fast and be a blur and only have pictures to look at after. Video just brings the day back to life with movement and sounds— It made all the hard work, sweat, and tears of putting our wedding together even more worth it. Trust me. You will NOT regret hiring Caleb. He communicated with us very well before, during, and after the wedding. I absolutely cannot recommend Caleb and F1rst Person enough! He was involved, personal and responsive throughout the entire process. It is enormously apparent that Caleb takes his job as a videographer very seriously, especially when it comes to capturing weddings. He produced an intimate, personal and joyous final copy that had both my wife and I in tears (again and again). He was timely with delivery, and absolutely knocked everyone's socks off.

Caleb was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He has a wonderfully laid back nature, which in the wedding industry is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. There are so many details and vendors to deal with--it can be overwhelming, to say the least. But Caleb's patient demeanor always left us at ease. And he was incredibly responsive to our needs. He made a visit to our wedding location on Vashon so he could scout the shoot. He communicated well with us and listened to what we wanted in the video and then went and made that happen and then some. He not only captured all the moments we asked--he captured so many that we didn't even know we'd want. We honestly don't know how he did it! And when we saw the short trailer he edited together---well, we 're just blown away. He's got such a good eye and is such a great editor. We were beyond happy with how our video came out. We are so happy we hired Caleb. We can't recommend him enough!

Caleb is incredibly talented. He captured our elopement in the forest of Seattle, and he did such an amazing job. Not only did he capture the best moments, but he does an amazing job of being discreet while still capturing little details! We love our video so much. Even now, a year and a half later, we still watch it and are immediately transported back to our special day. We can feel the emotion again, and it makes us want to hop on a plane back to Washington! My wife and I debated for a while about whether or not we should spend the extra money to get a videographer for our wedding. As we weighed the importance of remembering this one day versus the importance of putting the money towards something in our future, we didn't get anywhere. She wanted a video of our day, I wasn't sure. But you have to pick your battles, and this wasn't a good one, so I agreed that we should get one. We asked our photographer who he'd recommend as a videographer, since knew more about weddings than we ever will. Caleb (aka First Person Pictures) was top of his list. After e-mailing Caleb and a few competitors, and talking with them over the phone, it was an easy call. We could tell Caleb cared a lot about producing not just a cookie cutter wedding video, but something tailored to the couple at the center of it. Just look through his site, and you'll see romantic wedding videos, up-beat wedding videos, videos that highlight the ceremony, videos that highlight the reception. He is exceptionally good at finding out what you want, and making it a reality.

Day of he was professional, and fun to have around. And on such a hectic day, you really can't ask for anything more. As for the final product, it was the first of what I'm sure will be many "I told you so"s from my wife. The video is perfect, and I'm so glad we hired Caleb to do it. We'd asked for a more upbeat video that highlighted the fun we had during the day. Caleb delivered. My wife and I watched it grinning ear to ear, laughing, enjoying little moments we had forgotten or weren't present for day of. Then we watched it again right away. The music was great, the pacing was great, the super 8 footage was great, I can go on and on.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and get Caleb as your videographer. He delivers a final product that is carefully and masterfully crafted just for you, and you'll love it.
