Fine Art Caricatures - Elegant Ink Portraits is a live painter and portrait artist offering unique entertainment and wedding favors for couples in and around Woodland Hills, California.

Ink portraits, watercolors, and live paintings!
I am a studio artist and educator who truly enjoys bringing my painting skills to folks' happiest moments.
My drawings and paintings are much more fine-art sketches than the typical event caricature.
This makes them especially good for weddings and other major life events.
I can easily work with all ages of sitter, as individuals and groups.
I keep the posing activity lively and personable while reflecting the energy of any event.

Elegant Wedding Ink Caricatures

Miles was an amazing vendor for our wedding and was so easy to communicate with. His elegant caricatures added such a special touch to our big day, and our guests were able to take home his lovely work as a keepsake. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to make your event a classy and special experience to have Miles as part of your day!

We booked Miles for our wedding, and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Miles was one of the most professional vendors I have ever worked with; he really knows how to run his business. Miles replied nearly instantly to any communications and made us very relaxed going into our wedding. Most importantly, Miles is a spectacular artist, and all the portraits were done quickly yet carefully, and all were of the same high quality. The guests were extremely impressed with their portraits, and we received tons of compliments. You should consider this service over the overdone photo-booths with goofy hats. Now our guests have a piece of real art that is frame-worthy.

Miles was an absolute delight to work with. He was prompt, professional, courteous, and above all EXTREMELY talented! Each portrait was done quickly but clearly not at the expense of detail and thought. I would absolutely hire him again, and very likely will whenever I am able to! Thank you Miles!

Miles drew Fine Art Portraits for an event this last weekend and I couldn't have asked for anything more. He was so communicative leading up to the event, arrived early to ensure he was set up for our guests, and was more than willing to move locations halfway through the event to help us out. He was so nice and polite to each and everyone of our guests, and really provided them a one-of-a-kind experience that they could take home with them to remember the afternoon.

Miles is an incredible portrait artist. I had the pleasure to work with him for an event I produced at Grand Park during the Spring of 2016. His ability to connect with audiences and guests to make the portrait sitting experience a warm and welcoming experience was inspiring to see. Miles' professionalism, attention to detail, and warm disposition made him a great partner to work with!

I have worked with Miles for a few years through the arts non profit I created. Miles is not only a superb and talented artist but he's extremely knowledgable and experienced in his practice. His ink portraits add a dimension of originality to any event and people get to walk away with an ink portrait that's classy and interesting. I would highly recommend him for any event, especially if you want to add an artistic and cool element to your wedding.

We hired Miles twice to do live portraits as part of an artwalk event for the City of Los Angeles' Great Streets Initiative. This feature was very popular with the attendees and there is no question we would ask him back for future events.

Miles Lewis, in addition to being a stellar painter, printmaker and educator, does really wonderful things in the medium of quick portraits in ink. His inimitable style is a great asset to festivals, gatherings and art events, and his presence has added to events at the Camera Obscura Art Lab and in Clover Park at events for the City of Santa Monica.
