Awesome music, punctual, and respected how we wanted the night to go. Was on time, came prepared, and was great with feeling the guests musical tastes. We also provided songs we wanted to hear, and he gladly played them. Thank you again!

Tom hardly needs another glowing review, since they are all over this board, but I'll throw my two cents in here regardless! I'm so pleased we went with Tom for our wedding, since dancing was very important to us. Throughout the whole process, Tom was responsive, flexible, helpful, and above all experienced! A friend of ours was our MC and our venue has some weird logistics and sound restrictions -- oh, and we had custom edits of our first dance songs. Nothing fazed Tom. Everything ran smoothly and every cue was perfect! Most importantly, we and our guests were out on the dance floor all night, and even after my husband and I left the dancing continued until the lights turned on! That's my kind of party. Thank you, Tom, for being such a wonderful part of our perfect day!

Tom with California Sounds fulfilled everything we wanted for our wedding DJ. We knew after our first meeting with him that he was going to meet all of our expectations. The cost was economical for our wedding budget and Tom worked with us every step of the way creating the perfect wedding soundtrack to keep the reception moving and the party going. His expertise was evident with the wedding worksheet that made sure we thought about all the music we would want from the bridal party entrance to the cake cutting. Tom helped put me at ease by playing one of my favorite songs while we were waiting for the ceremony to start and never once tried to take attention away from the reception. He also played all the songs we gave to him. We would recommend Tom and California Sounds. It will be money well spent.

Tom was the BEST! He was so easy to work with. We told him what we liked and he did a great job weaving it into the music of the evening. He was dressed professionally. He worked with us on our last minute changes. People were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night! I would recommend him to EVERYONE!

The Calamigos Equstrian in Burbank on Friday, July 20th was the place to be. All I can say is nobody wanted to stop dancing. Our guests couldn't get on the dance floor fast enough and never left it. They played such a great variety of music that kept everyone on their feet. It makes for a great wedding/party when no one wants to stop dancing...the dance floor was never empty. We are still getting phone calls and comments on how much fun it was and what great music we had. Thank you guys.

Tom, is amazing. He helped us plan the timing of the wedding, was professional on time, and reliable. He also played great music. Everyone stayed until around 12:30pm so he was doing something right. I highly recommend Tom. He will work with you and make the music arrangement that you want. He will also help you make sure that your guests get what they want too.

Tom was the DJ for my friends' wedding a few years back, so when I needed a DJ for my own wedding, there was no other choice for me - I remembered how great he was for their wedding and I was sold. Tom was quick to respond to emails (preferred choice of correspondence for me since I work in an office surrounded by people and it is dicey to make and take personal calls). His prices are reasonable and he was very easy to work with - he even had forms that would help him get a good idea of what music we liked and he stuck to it.

Our wedding went off without a hitch and everyone loved Tom's DJing. He was great at quick thinking - we forgot to mention a slideshow with sound and he was able to put something together to connect it to his speakers with only a short period of time.

I would HIGHLY recommend his DJ services to anyone looking for a great DJ for their wedding.

Tom Chandler is seriously amazing. No words can express how pleased we were with him. He knows how to read a crowd and will give you exactly what you ask for AND all the things you didn't even know you wanted. Not to mention he was one of the most affordable DJ's we spoke with. He has a great speaking voice - sounds like an experienced MC, knows what to play, and how to get a party started. Can't go wrong with this guy.

Tom is one of the my favorite wedding vendors I have worked with... We met with a couple DJs and we felt like we were at a reality TV show when we meet these DJs... It started with the first DJ who is like 20 minutes late to the meeting, turns out not to be available for our wedding day, try to upsell us on things, who referred us to another DJ in his company.. who reminded us of "The Situation" from Jersey Shore... Enough said..

Next up from Jersey Shore.. we met with a soft spoken , teacher during day time and DJ at night time.. and then we meet another DJ who says "like" or was it "and" every three words in a sentence..

Finally we met Tom, who was recommended through our friend. I feel like finding a DJ is like finding a reflection of you two as a couple.. The other DJs are great too but my more outgoing love to party friends will pick the DJ whose energy shouts V-E-G-A-S and drinks.... we are more of a casual lounge, laid back type of couple and DJ Tom embodies that. He is responsible, responsive, and at a great value. I had booked too much of his time and when I wanted to scale down on his package, he allowed me to do that despite my signed contract.. I had also my bridezilla moment and ask Tom to come meet us at the venue in Long Beach (him coming from Pasadena area) on a weekday night and we only chatted for 30 minutes..

At our wedding day, Tom was great, there was no issue at all.. The MC role is just the right tone to set our mood and he gets people to the dance floor (and brides: what really get people to the dance floor is you or your groom on the dance floor)...

Bottom line: Tom was one of the top vendors I really enjoyed working with for our wedding day.. I highly recommend Tom
