Farmington Historic Plantation is a gorgeous venue, even when it rains 3.48” on your wedding day! The carriage house was a perfect place to get ready and take impromptu family photos. We had so many compliments on the venue and how beautiful the pavilion was. I’d have it there again in a heartbeat!

For $1000, this venue was fantastic! Diane was so easy to work with, and made plenty of helpful recommendations as to catering, rental companies, timing and decor. We went with a caterer and rental company that frequently do events at Farmington (Kingsley's and Reliable Rentals), so we didn't need to direct them in any way as to rules at Farmington or where to set up, they already knew. With our wedding in mid-June, the garden was in full bloom and looked lovely. We didn't really decorate at all, since the flowers provided all the backdrop we needed. We set up yard games (cornhole, bocce ball, croquet) and Diane was more than willing to let us arrive a bit earlier than specified to start makeup and setup. Overall a wonderful, stress-free experience. Couldn't have asked for better!

Beautiful but it rained.

We had our wedding here in October and it was beautiful! The courtyard is a gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony and the pavilion is such a lovely reception area. I really wanted an outdoor wedding where the ceremony and reception could be in the same place and Farmington was perfect for that! I only wished we could have stayed later and kept celebrating!
