My husband and I are both teachers, and we went into wedding planning wanting a joyful experience that required as few moving parts and details as possible and with as little stress as was possible. Thank goodness for Monica. My husband and I both agree that Monica was the primary reason why our wedding planning, ceremony, and reception went so smoothly! She is incredibly professional, personable, responsive, detail-oriented, organized, and most importantly -- calm under pressure!

Monica offered us a custom package and was our month-of coordinator. The month before the wedding, Monica oversaw communications with all of our other vendors and helped arrange details, timings, etc. Several weeks prior to the wedding, she provided a detailed itinerary and invited us to the venue to walk-through those details and go over logistics. Monica thought of details that we didn't even think about, and her savvy and know-how from being in the industry was invaluable. For example, she helped us think about lighting and music during cocktail hour and bar options available after cocktail hour -- we didn't even think about these details beforehand!

Monica helped coordinate, facilitate, and run our wedding rehearsal at the venue. She also helped manage the timings on the day of the wedding and oversaw set-up of the entire day, starting from the wedding rehearsal the night before through the wedding reception. She was responsible for checking in with all the vendors, coordinating the timings of setup, coordinating things we or the wedding party needed to be at, cuing us appropriately during all parts of the ceremony and reception, and setting up all the centerpieces for our reception, our wedding favors, as well as our guestbook table. She also helped gather and keep safe decor and gifts that needed safekeeping. My favorite moment that she helped coordinate (and which she preserved for just me and my husband) was our first look.

Not only did Monica make our ceremony and reception seamless, she was flexible, and if things didn't stay according to schedule, she would quickly adjust. She was always calm and would check in with us at the perfect moments. She was hidden behind the scenes but always present and always there if you needed her. I felt at ease knowing she was there to handle anything!

Many of my friends are married, and every single one of my friends in the wedding party was thoroughly impressed with Monica starting right from the rehearsal -- I got as many compliments on her as I did on other details on my wedding day! There were so many little details that she quickly addressed and handled that I learned later on from other people.

I feel so incredibly grateful for the serendipity that allowed us to meet and hire Monica. She is one of the reasons why our wedding day was incredibly special and the reason why we could focus on thoroughly enjoying the day ourselves. Thank you, Monica! We love you!
