Ervay Theater is a wedding and event venue in Dallas, Texas. They are located in the historic Cedars neighborhood near downtown Dallas and offer a unique venue for all your events. Ervay Theater first opened its doors in 1946 by former Army Captain L.R. Robertson. With the help of the help of the GI Bill, Robertson and some fellow veterans created a real estate investment group in hope of opening neighborhood Theaters in the Dallas area. Ervay was a successful movie theater for many years before it was renovated into a modern event venue.

Facilities and Capacity
Ervay Theater features the original theatre entrance layout with the door opening into a retro-style foyer and balcony stairway on the right. The main event space can be accessed through a wide hallway and is 2,200 square feet of space. The main space features a stunning steel stairway that leads to a 930 square foot lounge area furnished with chairs and modern end tables. The dressing room suite is equipped with an oversized mirror, vanity, seating and private restroom and shower. The venue can accommodate 200 guests for a standing open floor reception or 120-150 seated guests. The theater also has secure gated parking for up to 50 vehicles.
