We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful ceremony and reception. There was not a thing we would change. Not only was everything beautiful, but the venue was easy to work with and posed no issues. We simply enjoyed the day and never had a single worry. We worked with Vicky, who works specifically with the Hemingway Museum, and this definitely added to the ease of the day. All of our guests said how perfect it was.Sent on 05/24/2019

The Hemingway Home exceeded all of our expectations! It was just beautiful, when the sun was both up and down. They also worked with us the week before and took us through a tour to show us where everything was going to take place. The different spots and transitions for the night were perfect. We brought cat toys for the kids to play with the cats and that was a huge hit. It was amazing and I wouldn’t have had the wedding at any other venue.Sent on 06/17/2019

Best wedding location on the island
Key West isn't just a sun-lit island locale, it's quirky, historic, fun, exciting, and interesting. The Hemingway House embodies all of these Key West traits at its best. Not only are the grounds beautiful and gorgeously well kept, but the locale is truly one of a kind. Where else can you have a wedding with 50+ cats roaming the grounds? So happy with our decision to get married here, it made our wedding truly one of a kind.Sent on 05/07/2019
Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum's reply:
This is the most beautiful location in Key West to get married. They have a beautiful garden for ceremonies and poolside cocktails veranda and a tropical paradise lawn for the reception. It is lush with tropical flowers, rich with history and home to the cutest cats. Guests always say how they love that they use different parts of this historical home. They even offer tours. I have DJ'ed over 50 weddings here and every one of them was perfect. Vicki, Anna and the whole amazing team, make the magic happen. Professional and attentive, you come to get married and leave with new friends. I give them 6 stars out of 5.
The Ernest Hemingway Home is THE most unique location within Key West to have a wedding celebration. The architecture, history, glamour of years gone by can not be matched. As a photographer who has photographed many events within this beautifully walled garden property, it offers so much to a couple! You can be as creative as you wish - A recent first dance I photographed - the couple incorporated 5 decades of music into their song and then switched up the dance moves. Other brides have provided bound books to their guests - had cigars, typewriters, and lighting incorporated, and one even wore period bridal wear. The grounds are kept immaculately and the staff are friendly. Anna and Vickey are two of the best cooridinators on the island so you will be in great hands!
