Whale Harbor Events, a wedding venue located in Islamorada, Florida, has been a key part of this island’s history. While its history does date back to 1976, the venue was destroyed at one point due to a fire. The venue was then rebuilt and now once again is proud to continue serving couples and guests on their big day. Even though they gained their station as an island landmark by providing delectable all-you-can-eat buffets, they have expanded their services and now offer couples a tropical setting at which to host their wedding.

Facilities and Capacity

On your wedding day, you will have 4,200 square feet of space in which to host your bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Your options at the Whale Harbor Events include both indoor and uncovered outdoor sites. Regardless of which type of space you choose, due to this venue’s location, you will get to experience stunning panoramic ocean views. Depending on which space you choose, you can host a wedding at the venue with up to 500 of your friends and family. Indoor spaces include the elegant Oasis Ballroom and Harbor Ballroom. If you would like to exchange your vows outdoors near the Atlantic, you can select from the Waters Edge Beach, Atlantic Isle, Sand Bar, and Paradise Point.

Whale Harbor Events offers packages for a wide variety of unique wedding needs. Some options, such as the “Two Fishes in the Sea,” are directed towards more intimate elopements while others are directed towards larger wedding parties and receptions. However, your specific needs will be met because these packages can be custom created. When couples select a package, they will receive base services such as a champagne toast, premium or luxury bar, cake cutting service, planning session, and more.
