She not only created a beautiful piece of art that looked exactly like us and so realistic, but she took the time to ask beforehand specific details that we would want included. Everyone at our wedding was in such awe. If you’re questioning whether to get a live painter, hire Erika. You will NOT be disappointed!!

I always knew I wanted a live painter at my daughters wedding, and after viewing several works from different artists, Erika’s work was hands down the absolute best. Erika was wonderful to work with starting from our first correspondence until the beautiful and flawless painting arrived at my home. I highly recommend Erika for anyone’s event. I saw live paintings for weddings happening on instagram. I knew I had to surprise my soon to be husband with one for our wedding day. A quick search turned up Erika Event Painting as a local artist. Communication with Erika was easy via email and a quick phone call, I immediately booked her. Payments were super easy as well. Erika arrived at our venue on our wedding day, snagged some photos of our ceremony and went to work during cocktail hour and reception. My husband was so surprised when he saw her. Even better was how completely blown away at the end of the night he was with the finished product. So many guests visited with Erika throughout the night. She was so kind and pleasant with every person. Every guest has complimented me for the unique idea and raved about her process and the finished product!

Having Erika paint our first dance was perfect! She was so easy to work with and the painting looks so realistic; she painted the picture on-site and finished that night. She had people walking up to her, speaking to her, and watching over her shoulder while painting. But apparently, none of that bothers her, because this painting is something my husband and I will cherish forever. Everyone was saying, “Did you see the painting?” Erika isn’t just a painter - She’s also an entertainer, as people stared all night watching her greatness. We’ve never seen such fantastic detail like this. And still can’t believe she did the painting on-site and finished it the same night. It’s unreal. She’s super talented. We will frame our painting and put it in the Living Room to show it off to everyone who walks into our house from now on. Incredible!

I must say that having Erika capture my husband and I’s first dance has been one of the most treasured possessions we have of our wedding day. Each painting she does is unique to each client due to their venue, wedding dress, decorations, etc. When you have a painting of your wedding, no one else has one like it. It’s a one of a kind piece that brings back memories of the best day of your life. Erika’s work is beautiful and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a unique element at their wedding reception with an momento that you get to take home and hang up to see for years to come!

A live painter was a top “must have” for us. We found Erika through another artist that we found on The Knot. We are so thrilled to have found her! Erika was so kind and easy to work with. Her work shows for itself - our guests truly couldn’t stop talking about the painting as she brought it to life. Erika painted our first dance on an 20” x 30” canvas. We opted to not add any additional detail to the painting after the fact, and we’re able to take it home the same night. If you’re looking to add that extra something to your night and have memorabilia to cherish forever, we cannot recommend Erika enough!
