I have used Ethan and the Empower Event Group now several times and would never use another group. Their communication, love of what they do, organization, and style made my wedding exactly what I was looking for. The best part is they keep the party going and are phenomenal whether you want a low key vibe or dancing on the ceiling! Absolute 10 out of 10. You will not be disappointed.

Empower was amazing from start to finish. Multiple wedding guests told us they have never danced this much at a wedding which was the exact vibe we wanted. They also helped me out with a last minute audio visual surprise for my husband which was very kind and went amazing.

Ethan and his team were amazing! We sae then at a friends wedding and the vibes were high the ENTIRE night and EVERYONE was on the dance floor so we knew we needed empower at our wedding! As promised the dance floor was going all night and he matched our (my) vibe all night, I swore it was my own personal concert and I didn’t leave the dance floor all night. Everyone is still raving about the music at our wedding! 
He was also so easy to get in touch with, helped us plan and bring our ideas to life. Couldn’t have imagined our wedding without them!

BEST. DJ. EVER!!! We had the best experience with Empower and DJ Roy at our wedding. Working with Ethan during the planning process was made so easy because of his organization and professionalism and the fact that he was so easy going with a few last minute changes we had a few days prior to my wedding. Empower was on our venue’s preferred vendor list, and our coordinator had such great things to say and highly recommended them. The fact that they were available to DJ our wedding with 2 months notice was also extremely impressive! My husband and I came up with a playlist as a framework for our reception and shared that with Empower, and the entire wedding our dance floor was packed because DJ Roy did THAT amazing of a job keeping the crowd up on their feet. Considering our wedding had a wide range of ages(between 21 and 75), for the dance floor to be packed the entire time is impressive. We’ve had so many guests come to us and say how great the DJ did and that they never wanted to leave the floor unless it was to get a drink! I would recommend Empower to anyone looking for a DJ for an event or wedding.

We couldn’t have asked for a better group to work w/ than Empower Event Group. Ethan Mazer, who is the owner of Empower and one of the event hosts, was so easy to work w/ from his eagerness to help us in anyway possible in the planning to his clear communication. He was also an incredible DJ! He even asked my husband and I to make a guest appearance behind the turntable, which was a blast! The music kept the energy up all night, and the lighting transformed the space beautifully. We also had Empower design a personalized monogram for the dance floor; it was a stunning and elevated touch to the dance floor! We absolutely loved our experience w/ this group and highly recommend them to anyone lookingk for wedding entertainment!! We are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding unforgettable!

Ethan and his team at Empower Event Group did an amazing job DJing for our July 2025 wedding. In addition to the music, we also used Empower Event Group for reception lighting, which was awesome. Ethan listened to what we did and did not want played at our wedding. He even kept the vibes up when a fire alarm went off for 40 minutes during the reception and offered to move his equipment outside (thankfully before they could set up outside the alarm was turned off). He was extremely flexible and professional throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend Empower Event Group to other brides in the Philadelphia area.

Ethan DJ'd our wedding last month at Lark (Ironworks at Penncoyd Landing) in Bala Cynwyd, PA. I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. He was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. Communication was efficient, and as I appreciated more and more as the planning went on, not overwhelming. I trusted him to follow through and he did, and threw a great party! Ethan was more than just a DJ, he ensured all the audio worked perfectly, the guests knew where to be, and the dancefloor was always occupied. Where do I even begin... let me start by saying if you’re looking for a DJ you just found the best of the best! And yes that includes the price too!

Hands down 10 out of 5 stars. They absolutely checked every box we wanted…the price, quality, professionalism, communication, THE ENERGY, even the involvement with the venue to keep our schedule on track.

Empower has an absolute beast crew! From the day we reached out asking for more information they were on their game!!! They listened to every little detail we asked from them and kept our wedding guests on the dance floor the entire night!

We had received quotes from several other DJ’s and not a single one was as involved as Empower was. Not to mention, the others were significantly higher in cost for everything Empower was offering!

They listened to every request we had, including a range of things from “do not plays” to the “club vibe” we were looking to pull together for our wedding dance floor. Even with the special instrumentals we wanted for the ceremony, absolutely hit it out of the park!

The entire process was effortless, they essentially handled everything for us! When people say that music is the most important part of wedding planning, they aren’t lying! We still receive compliments on the DJ and if you ask what our decorations or our food was… there’s very few who can remember.

BUT THE DJ!!! Every single person remembers the music and vibe of the night.

We are so thankful we found Ethan and the team at Empower. Mo was also so pleasant to work with, they truly cared and catered to our needs. Very rare to find a DJ that’s able to keep everyone on the dance floor! So many of our friends that don’t typically get down on the dance floor were out there all night!
