Emily did a wonderful job on our cake. The flavors were delicious and it looked lovely. She was so helpful through the planning process, and even set up a to-go tasting for us. I highly recommend!

The food was great and they helped with a lot. Would use again and again. We used them for both the rehersal dinner and reception.

Emily's catering did such a fantastic job - all of our guests raved about the food and desserts. Many wanted the name of our caterer and we were more than happy to provide it!

Farm to fork buffet dinner and they worked with our budget after my husband lost his job in the middle of us planning our wedding. Always quick to answer whenever we had any questions even after hours and the food was so good for you and so tasty. Our guests still talk about our passed appetizers in the little to-go Chinese boxes and made great vegan meals. Very accommodating even after the wedding with little mishaps here and there but what wedding doesn’t have hiccups. Very professional and attentive.

All of our wedding guests really enjoyed the food. It has been several weeks and I'm still getting comments about it. I was told by guest that it was delicious, warm, flavorful, tender, and even people with a lot of food allergies could enjoy it. John (Emily's husband) was fantastic, so was their team. All of the food was prepared on time and there was plenty of food for all of the guests.

Emily and John patiently helped me as I made the decisions for the menu. One thing that I really appreciated was how they did their pricing. They list each food item per guest, so I could mix and match food items which allowed our guests to try a variety of food at a price we could afford. For example: We had 200 guests. Emily's allowed me to order 115 chicken dishes and 115 beef dishes so that everyone could try both, instead of following the formula of other catering companies which said we must order 200 chicken dishes and 200 beef dishes when ordering food for a buffet. This style of pricing saved us money and it also allowed for our guests to try a variety of salads, entrees and sides. The side dishes were incredible. It was like eating a homemade meal only it fed 200.

In addition, I've stopped by their shop for savory and sweet treats both before and after the wedding. They are always welcoming and kind.

My only regret was missing the opportunity to thank them in person on my wedding day. Thank you John, Emily and the Staff of Emily's Catering!

I have had nothing but positive comments about the food at our wedding! Emily's is terrific. They are easy to work with, have extensive experience and serve delicious food! Their staff was fantastic on the day of our wedding - professional, friendly and super helpful. Oh, and the cake was not only beautiful but so tasty! I will not hesitate to use Emily's again!

Emily's Catering & Cakes was AMAZING!! I can't say enough about them. They are so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process so you aren't stressed out about the details. On the day of our wedding, they helped set up everything, clean up everything, were moving in and out of the kitchen so quickly and smoothly that you didn't even notice them. The food? SO delicious. The cakes were to die for and the boxed up tons for my husband and I to enjoy later. Any bride in the area would be crazy not to hire Emily - they are the best!!

She was amazing! I wanted an organic, local catering company, and she was such a pleasure to work with. She was flexible with the budget and options. Her staff was professional. They even packed up the food for us to take on the honeymoon too!

I was the wedding planner for a Ranch Wedding in Grass Valley CA. Emily was the catering company. I can't express how hard Emily and her team worked and under very difficult catering conditions. Her and her staff had to navigate rocks, gravel, dogs, a hill and limited running water all while pulling off a perfect dinner service! I did have a little trouble communicating with her but she is busy running a catering company so I now understand that she will get it done and done right - there is no need to worry.

Amazing team! They were able to do a room flip since we did our ceremony and reception in the same hall. We were with a previous catering company and they were charging a whole lot more and didn’t even provide the room flip service. They had great food and accommodated our family and friends allergies/vegetarian diets. They also handled our rentals which there was an issue, but Emily’s staff informed us right away and were able to handle/fix it which made our whole wedding planning not as stressful as we thought! Food was great and staff were very kind and responsive with every email and questions. Thankful to have them as one of our vendors!
