My husband and I just got married at the end of August 2014. We cannot say enough about Emily's amazing work! She is super easy to work with and so friendly that it helped me stay calm during all that was going on leading up to the ceremony. We originally had a different photographer and she had to cancel on us last minute due to health issues and recommended Emily to us. We were nervous at first but as soon as I looked at her site and spoke to her on the phone I was put to ease right away. Our pictures are AMAZING. We could not be happier! She captured all the important details as well as all of the group and family shots. I highly recommend Emily especially if you are the type of person to be overwhelmed or if you planned the entire wedding yourself (like we did!) and know that you will be stressing out because she has a very calming, happy quality to her that makes the entire experience perfect.

I truly cannot recommend Emily highly enough. Initially, my husband and I were going to have a friend take photographs for our wedding as we were on a tight budget. But my mother-in-law insisted we find a professional. In hindsight, it was the best money we spent. The day was over before we knew it, but Emily's unbelievable images captured the day far more beautifully than even my memory. She was prompt with her responses, created a package within our budget, and was kind, organized, and effortless on the day. I was shocked at the moments she was able to capture - for most of them, I didn't even know she was there. But she was also able to wrangle our 200+ guests wandering the property for our big group shot without breaking a sweat or losing her beautiful smile. Her quiet calm presence relaxed me and my family even as she shot our most intimate moments. And her images surpassed my wildest expectations - her pictures are straight out of a spread in a bridal magazine. Last week, almost two years later, I asked if she could edit a particular shot, thinking she'd probably disposed of our files. I don't know why I was surprised that she not only still had our files but sent me the edit within 48 hours - that's just Emily. One last thing: I overpaid her. In working with our wedding planner to pay all our vendors, I overpaid Emily by over a thousand dollars. She called me immediately to tell me of the oversight and patiently waited for me to send her a new check. I hate to say it, but had she not told me, I might never have noticed. In every way, she exceeded my expectations, and as I said, I cannot recommend her highly enough.
