Embassy Suites Akron Canton is a contemporary hotel wedding venue located in North Canton, Ohio. Here, couples will be supported on their wedding planning journey by a team of committed event experts to help them make their dream day a reality. The hotel is conveniently located just four minutes from the Akron Canton Airport. With the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport taking less than an hour to reach, it's ideal for guests traveling from out of town.
Facilities and Capacity
Up to 250 guests can join you in your wedding festivities at Embassy Suites Akron Canton. The ballroom can be used as one large space or broken down into three smaller rooms. Its bronze-colored walls and decor add elegance and luxury to the space and can be complemented with ivory or black floor-length linens available from the hotel. A dance floor in the center of the room invites guests to join in on the fun. A pre-function area for a cocktail reception awaits outside the ballroom. Couples are also invited to use the smaller boardrooms in the hotel as space for ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, pre-wedding showers, or engagement parties.
The hotel offers 150 suites for overnight guests, each of whom will receive a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast the next morning. Couples receive a complimentary overnight stay at the hotel on the night of their wedding.

Perfect!!!!
we were treated nicely by each person we interacted with, and everyone went out of their way to help us. Andrena was so easy to work with while we planned our event and kept track of everything during the event. The tasting and food at the event were marvelous, we cannot thank the chef enough for being so accommodating and making such wonderful meals! We are still getting compliments on how tasty each dish was! The staff (Jafar) set up the room perfectly, and they did everything for us, even placing decor on the tables. When we entered the room, it looked incredible! Clean up was a breeze as they had all our personal decor set aside for us after the event. It made it so easy to focus on our day and truly enjoy each moment! Servers during the event were professional and sweet (Amanda? We forgot her name, but she was so helpful!!!) I'm sure we forgot many names, but we are so thankful that we chose the Akron-Canton Embassy Suites for our wedding reception! Everything was truly easy and beautifully handled, we cannot say enough positive things about our stay and event!

A Night to Remember
We mostly worked with Andrena and she was an absolute dream. She always responded to my various emails, talked me off of plenty ledges as we navigated planning a wedding during COVID-19, and never made me feel like a nuisance. I value how well she communicated mandates, changes that may affect our event, and solutions to any issues these mandates may have caused. The hotel is beautiful, well kept, and has the most amazing staff. Everyone was kind, we never felt like a bother, and they went above and beyond for me and my guests.
For the actual ceremony, the space was large enough to accommodate my group, while still practicing social distancing standards. The food was so dang on good that my guests made sure to mention it to me on SEVERAL occasions, during and after the event. At one point, a few guests got a little rowdy and Djafar handled the situation with grace, never making it an issue for me or my husband.
I truly appreciate how special our day was and none of this would have been possible without the amazing team here at the Embassy Suites. Book them, you won’t regret it!
