Elnathan Hijmering Photography, a provider of high-end wedding photographs for over 18 years, originated from my hobby in 2005, swiftly evolving into a full-time profession.

I am Elnathan Hijmering, a native of the enchanting island of Aruba in the Southern Caribbean. My love for photography began early as I experimented with an old Olympus OM10 camera. Following my graduation as an Audiovisual Designer in The Netherlands, my passion for photography led me back to the pursuit of my true calling. What started as a try out second shooter, rapidly converted into booking after booking.

With the increasing demand for destination weddings in Aruba, I swiftly gained recognition, becoming a frequently sought-after name among brides planning their weddings on the island. My work has been cherished by more than 1800 happy couples from various corners of the world, including the United States, Australia, Israel, Russia, Turkey, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, China and many more.

Since 2017, we have expanded our services beyond Aruba, accepting bookings for photography in various locations. Our first off-island assignment took us to Bonaire, followed by remarkable weddings in East Brunswick, New Jersey at the enchanting Park Chateau Estate and Gardens, Eastern Market in Detroit Michigan, and recently at the Eagle Creek Golf Course in Orlando, Florida. For off-island assignments, we offer an all inclusive package that covers your entire wedding day, photographer's lodging and travel expenses. All for 1 price!!!!

The Covid-19 pandemic significantly impacted the wedding industry and Aruba's tourism. However, our sun-loving visitors quickly found happiness again in paradise. To contribute to keeping the island safe, our entire team is vaccinated, and we strictly adhere to safety guidelines.

Despite these challenges, our ability to capture the spontaneous and joyful moments of weddings remains unaffected. We are a committed to provide comprehensive and emotionally rich wedding photography. Capturing not just the visual aspects of the event but also the emotions and energy is a wonderful approach. Weddings are significant life moments, and having a photographer who can skillfully document not only the scenes but also the feelings and atmosphere can result in truly memorable and evocative photos. After all, you only have one chance to get it right!

Since 2019 we are also providing HD Cinematography coverage. Our crew consists of experienced and certified camera operators using the best equipment. A basic setup includes a minimum of 3 cameras, prime lenses, 3 axis Gimbal, 4k Drone, and wireless microphones.
