Located in the heart of Marshalltown, Iowa, Elmwood Country Club has hosted some of Central Iowa’s most elegant weddings and celebrations since 1912. Completely refreshed in 2024, Elmwood’s event spaces now feature bright, modern finishes while preserving the warmth and charm of our original architecture. The ballroom’s 40-foot cathedral ceilings and gleaming wood floors create a grand yet welcoming atmosphere, while the scenic veranda offers sweeping views of the golf course — the perfect backdrop for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and golden-hour photos.
Elmwood’s convenient location makes it an ideal destination for you and your guests. Situated in the center of the state, we are just an hour from both Des Moines International Airport and the Eastern Iowa Airport, and within a four- to five-hour drive from Omaha, Chicago, Kansas City, and Minneapolis–St. Paul. Marshalltown also offers a variety of comfortable lodging options, making it easy for out-of-town guests to join the celebration.
With seating for up to 250 guests and a dedicated team of event professionals, Elmwood provides everything you need to make your day seamless. Our in-house chef and catering team craft memorable menus tailored to your vision, while our professional bartenders provide full bar service for your guests. We take care of all the details — from table and linen setup to décor placement, cleanup, and ample parking — so you can simply enjoy every moment.
