The Estate at Elk Point is located on Potlatch Hill in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This amazing location features priceless views of the best that North Idaho has to offer.

We have done more than 500 events of every kind of event from weddings, operas, corporate parties, graduations, fundraisers, memorials, business meetings, and conferences. A memorable event we are very proud of was having Disney’s former Executive Vice President of Operations – Lee Cockerell meet and greet, Night under the stars with S.I.D.S., North Idaho life dinner night, etc.

I will also add that Elk Point has several points we are proud of:

  • easy freeway access
  • our location is 2 minutes from downtown CDA with readily available public transportation
  • on-site parking for 100 autos with additional parking available, on-site handicap parking
  • real ADA bathrooms (most indoor/outdoor venues utilize portable restrooms) located in our event pavilion
  • our event pavilion is heated and air-conditioned and is ADA compliant

Included are tables, chairs, a custom layout for up to 175 guests, venue setup and cleanup provided by Elk Point, audio/video options, onsite staffing, vendor recommendations, bar options, and a logistics meeting.

Couldn't have been more perfect!

The ease of working with an all-inclusive venue can not be understated. From day one, Jeff made us feel so welcome... having setup, teardown, food, DJ, and bartending all under one roof made our special day smooth and seamless. We opted not to rent a tent and block that stunning view... the weather was perfect, so we were fortunate. Recommend having some sort of handheld fans for your guests just in case the sun in bright with minimal wind flow. I was fortunate enough to have my sister-in-law and a few friends handle day of coordination, but planning from Columbus, Ohio and executing in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho was far smoother and more beautiful than I ever imagined, thanks to the team at Elk Point Events. Would 100% recommend again and again. Only downfall was that I couldn't slow down the day... my forever after ceremony and reception were everything I dreamt of and more.

Amazing venue for any event

Elk Point was such an amazing place to get married! The venue it self was breathtaking, but working with the staff was amazing.
The ease of having a set price for food, venue, and linens, was a life saver! They were so easy to work with, and we never had a doubt that it wouldn't be perfect!

We held our daughter's wedding at Elk Point this past July. The Elk Point Crew were fabulous and the setting spectacular. We had many out of town guests and they all said that this venue was one of the most beautiful wedding sites they had been too. People from the area were blown away by this gem as well.

I had an amazing experience! The view was amazing and the staff was great. I didn't have to worry about a thing. They set up everything the way we had talked about and everything was done on time. Everyone was extremely helpful and I would recommend Elk Point to all my friends and family!

What an excellent place to get married! It was a beautiful day! The staff was so helpful answering all my questions, and suggestions for my big day! We had 3 large tents setup from event rents and the staffs knowledge on them has shown that they have experience. The view was amazing in all the photos, it really made it all worth while to see how relaxed all my guests were and how much fun everyone had. I couldn't thank them enough for how excellent the day went. Wish it didn't go by so fast!

We enjoyed the beautiful view for such a low price! It was nice to have the tables, and chairs setup already when we came on sight. I would highly recommend Elk Point for a wedding because the staff and family running the event center is so helpful. Plus the view makes it that much easier of a choice.

This place was absolutely beautiful, overlooking lake Coeur d Alene and the golf course. The staff was fabulous and attentive and VERY affordable! I hope to hold other events there.

Winter View

What a gorgeous view of the lake. We visited in the winter with loads if snow but had an excellent showing and the manager was upfront genuine and extremely easy to talk with. Excellent experience.

Beautiful view that can't be beat, got married there July, 2016. They do have a lot of rules, but nothing that I thought was overly unreasonable, and we didnt have any issues that I was made aware of. The one complaint I do have, is that they ran out of our beer selection. They let us choose a couple of beers from their list, so we chose coors light($2 a bottle) and a different beer ($6 a bottle). We ran out of the cheaper beer well before the end of the night. Therefore, people were forced to switch to the more expensive one. I feel that if I am unable to provide my own alcohol, and am paying for it from their list, they should at least make sure they have an adequate stock on hand. Other than that my wedding was seriously the best day ever, and they were very helpful in the planning process and quickly answered my questions and concerns. They were accomodating to my special requests. I still have people commenting to me about how amazing my wedding venue was.

Beware scheduling a wedding during covid-19 times

We scheduled our wedding in Aug 2019 a year in advance of the 2020 wedding date and paid the $2500 non refundable deposit. Then Covid hit, we lost our local business and were not sure at that time, 4.5 months prior to the wedding date that we could even have the wedding at Elk pt. on the actual wedding date planned due to Covid restrictions for businesses, and how many could be in a gathering. I contacted the owner to ask if he had any help or plan for couples during this time, maybe let them out of the contract due to Covid, or change the payment due date(we did not ask to pay less or anything) The only thing he could offer was to waive the $50 fee to change the wedding to another date. This didn't seem very helpful and we knew we were not dealing with a team player. We canceled because of funding at the time (just needed an extra month due to our loss during Covid) this again was in April 2020 and the wedding in Aug 2020. I asked if he could refund any amount ( even $50 would have been somewhat of a good will action,) back from the non-refundable deposit, due to the crazy times. I was declined. I've since learned, and figure enough, that that wedding date was filled and that means my deposit was free money to this event venue as I'm sure a $2500 deposited was required as well to the next happy couple. Very disappointed with the lack of integrity even though they said they were sorry for our situation, there was no believable action. Just beware, be sure you çan afford the loss if something comes up due to unknown events.
