About this venue
Commellini Estate is a tranquil wedding venue and caterer located in Spokane, Washington. This historic venue dates back to 1941, when Albert and Leda Commellini lovingly established it. Even though it has been around for decades, it is still family-owned and operated. Their private woodland venue contains 200 acres and is perfect for hosting all stages of your wedding, including your bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception.
Wedding & Special Events
On the estate, couples and guests will feel as if they have been whisked away to a private paradise. The property boasts forests, prairies, lawns, a nine-foot waterfall, a pond, and a tranquil creek. These gorgeous natural elements provide the perfect backdrop for outdoor weddings. In total, couples have six wedding and ceremony sites they can choose from, including four outdoor (uncovered and covered) options and two indoors. Regardless of the weather, with the different site options available, your wedding can continue as planned. Up to 300 of your closest friends and family can enjoy these spaces. Couples are also welcome to use the entire gorgeous property for their photo backdrops, as you will have exclusive use of the estate on the day of your event.
Services Offered
When you host your wedding at Commellini Estate, you will truly experience the wedding of your dreams. To make that happen in the least stressful way possible, you will receive the assistance of an event coordinator as you plan your big day. The team also handles all of your setup and cleanup. Our package options include many non-standard amenities, most notably your personal event coordinator and day of coordinator. On your big day, you will enjoy no cut-off time and noise restrictions. You will also get to take advantage of the following:

We offer full-service on-site catering as well as customizable offsite catering packages for your wedding and rehearsal dinner needs! Our chef and team of event coordinators are here to assist in creating the best culinary experience for you and your guests. As a fourth-generation restaurant and venue, we specialize in homemade traditional rustic Italian cuisine. Menu items include the famous Chicken Cacciatore and various pasta sauces brought over from Italy by Leda Commellini in 1918. Above all, we believe the key to Italian cuisine is using fresh, local ingredients and supporting local farmers and our community while making items in our kitchen from scratch.

Rain on My Wedding Day? No Problem
From the second the weather turned, they jumped into action. I don’t know how they did it, but they completely transitioned everything to their Plan B setup so fast and made it look like the indoor space was the plan all along. The venue still looked stunning—cozy, romantic, and honestly perfect for a rainy day.
The team kept me calm, made sure our guests were comfortable, and never missed a beat. It felt like they’d done this a million times, and their confidence was exactly what I needed in that moment.
Also, the food? 10/10. I knew it would be good- we attended a few of their public events to get a taste, but it exceeded my expectations. People are still texting me about how much they loved the pasta and how they went back for seconds (and thirds).
If you’re a bride worried about unexpected stuff happening on your big day, just know that Commellini Estate has your back. Rain or shine, they made our wedding unforgettable, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend!
Amazing Catering and Coordination
The catering was phenomenal! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food, especially their focaccia bread and chicken parmesan, which really felt homemade and authentic. Even at an off-site location, the quality was flawless, and everything arrived on time and perfectly set up.
What really sealed the deal for us, though, was their coordination team, who made the entire day run so smoothly. They handled the timeline and all the moving pieces allowed us to just enjoy the day and focus on celebrating with our friends and family. She handled every little hiccup with ease and made sure everything went according to plan.
A Perfect Balance of Beauty and Simplicity
One of the best parts for me was how seamless everything was. The team handled so many of the details that I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the planning process. They worked well with our vendors and had answers for all the random questions we threw at them. Their experience definitely showed.
The food is worth mentioning too—it was legit. We had a lot of family traveling in from out of state, and everyone commented on how good the food was. You could tell it wasn’t just mass-produced catering but something the venue takes pride in.
If you’re looking for a venue that’s straightforward to work with, looks amazing, and serves great food, I’d definitely recommend Commellini Estate. It was the perfect mix of laid-back and elegant, which fit exactly what my wife and I were going for.
The Perfect Venue for Our Dream Wedding!
The staff, especially our coordinator, were attentive and easy to work with. They made sure things ran smoothly on the day of the wedding, and we appreciated their quick responses during the planning process. They were professional, organized, and clearly knew how to manage events.
One of the highlights was definitely the food. Commellini’s Italian menu was a hit with our guests, and we’re still hearing compliments about the homemade pasta and how well-prepared everything was. It felt special to have food that didn’t just “feel like wedding food” but something genuinely delicious.
