If you are looking for a DJ for a wedding or other event, Look No Further! From the moment he arrived his professional showed. He was attentive to any questions we asked. He gave our daughter and new son-in-law exactly what they were looking for on their “Big Night”. He even assisted the Maid of Honor in how to get an outside recording she wanted to play during her speech.

Rob was amazing throughout our wedding planning process! We had originally had our wedding planned for 2020, but we all know what happened then! Rob was amazingly flexible and was able to pivot with us quickly and without any stress.
His prices are incredibly competitive. We had called around to a few other DJs in the area. He is an incredible and sweet man. He is quick to respond to emails and other communication.
He is a one-man rock star! During the event, he was able to wire up multiple speaker locations for the different sound needs. He did our ceremony, dinner, and dancing without a single hiccup. The sound quality was great! He also multitasked as out MC!
His style is refreshingly clean. I prefer something less club-y and he was perfect.

Robert was AMAZING to work with. He was so knowledgeable with his work, the ins and outs of music layout for weddings, and gave so many helpful tips and advices that we did not even think of. He was very courteous and respectful to my family and friends and extremely friendly and incredible to work with. He was on top of communication throughout our wedding planning and edited our songs to match the event that we were doing. We were so glad to have Robert with us or else we would have had NO IDEA how to coordinate any of the music, welcome speeches, announcements, etc. Robert also arrived super early than the proposed time just to set up and help us out when needed (since we didn't have a wedding planner for our small wedding). Thank you Robert for making this a stress free process and for also getting us lemonade and water and doing so much more than just DJing our wedding. We owe you the world. Thank you!!!!

Robert was amazing to work with on our wedding day. We explained that because we were having two ceremonies (American and Pakistani), we would want a mix of music from both cultures, and Robert was completely willing to accommodate. Additionally, he provided lapel microphones for our pastor and imam during the ceremony, perfectly queued up the entrance music for each ceremony, and kept up the energy throughout the night. Robert’s website also allowed us to enter any specific songs we wanted, which was a big help. We would highly recommend Robert for all of your DJ’ing needs!

Robert was absolutely amazing! We met with him twice before the wedding to go over all the details and he communicated with us throughout the process until our Wedding Day. He was patient with me while I selected my music and he was great when I asked him for recommendations. he did all the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Rob did a great job at our wedding. The dance floor was packed the whole time. He handled all of the transitions perfectly and was ready and willing to help out if anything went wrong (like ceremony musicians being late or something). He came prepared and engaged to all of our prep sessions and helped us really walk through the progression of the whole night. We’d highly recommend him to anyone else going forward!

Robert was our DJ at the Webb Barn in Wethersfield and he went above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests at the venue. Robert put us at ease when we first met him. He understood exactly what we were looking for (something fun but not cheesy!) and had great recommendations, including for our entrance song. He has a great website that allowed us and our guests to put requests, and for us to indicate which songs were not to be played.
Robert is a really friendly guy and we'd recommend him to anyone looking for an upbeat, classy DJ for their event!

We chose Robert Waldron of Elegant Occasions DJ after seeing him at a friend's wedding a year earlier. We liked his laid-back, fun manner and thought he was a good fit for us, too. We did not know that Robert would go so far above and beyond his duties as a DJ. When we met him, he gave us a packet/outline to help us plan our day, which I will tell you saved us as we were completely clueless to how to go about it. There were pages of song suggestions, tips, and advice that he had put together himself. During the year of planning for our wedding, Robert was open to any crazy song suggestion or idea we had.. (these included theme songs from Jurassic Park, A Goofy Movie, The Lord of the Rings, Eagle vs Shark.. even the theme song from the Ken Burns' Civil Wars documentaries!! Pretty much as random as you can get!!) Not only did he find each and every song we asked for, he LITERALLY ran in the beating sun between the ceremony and reception venue (Harkness Memorial State Park) to deliver information between myself and my husband before the ceremony, to bring the wedding party water bottles on the beach while we were working with the photographer, and to set-up and take-down all of his equipment on time.. and all with a huge smile on his face!! The man is a machine!! At the reception itself he rounded up all of the people we needed for each stage of the night (introductions, toasts, dances.. etc), Ben and I didn't even have to think about anything!! All of the other vendors and even our guests loved him and thought he was so energetic and great to be around!!

His experience and knowledge of how weddings work extended even so far to give us an extensive name change kit/packet to help guide me through this overwhelming task! We cannot thank Robert enough and wish we were getting married again just to have a reason to work with him another time! Thank you so much, Robert!!!

Rob went above and beyond all of our expectations. He assisted with planning elements that we hadn't thought of above and beyond his amazing DJ skills. He brought me a packet for how to change my name, had a charging station for our guests to charge their cell phones, and he kept the night moving with all of our elements. Elegant Occasions has a very easy website to organize all of the nights music and can also handle requests from our guests. Ron was also instrumental in conducting a conference call with all of my vendors the week of my wedding to make sure we were all on the same page.
