El Vaquero catered my daughter’s wedding reception, 150 people and some with many food allergies. The food exceeded expectations. I wish they had a restaurant. The tri tip was so delicious. Kelly was wonderful to work with and provided options for my guests with special dietary requirements. Orlando had everything ready right on time. With so many things to worry about on a wedding day, it was so comforting to not have to worry about the food.

Orlando was great! Food was amazing and he worked really well with our day of coordinator. Was very professional, punctual, and went above and beyond with the for preparation. Great quality catering for the price!

They absolutely blew us away with all they did for us. They came recommended from some friends who used them for their own wedding. A word of recommendation carries far in our world and Vaquero met and exceeded the reputation that proceeded them. 

They arrived on site at the venue in a timely manner complete with a large smoking BBQ. Food was presented as described. And most importantly, IT WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS. Rave reviews from all of our friends and family.

El Vaquero was the most responsive and easy to work with vendor of our entire wedding experience. They were extremely prompt, energetic, and professional from the moment we had our first conversation with them. They showed up on time, with smiles, and barbecued an incredible feast for our wedding in over 100° weather. We absolutely could not recommend them more.

Food was absolutely amazing! Could not have asked for better vendors! The set up, was elegant and the staff was great! We did have some people attending our wedding, that have Celiacs disease and I did inquire about their meat being okay to eat. The response I was given through wedding wire was that they’d be fine. The response given at my wedding was that they should avoid it. It was a bummer that we were given different responses since our wedding wasn’t exactly near a grocery store to last minute provide.

I was the wedding planner at a wedding that El Vaquero catered. I really enjoyed working with the team, both before and on the wedding day. They were kind, efficient, and made tasty food. Thanks, El Vaquero!

If your looking for good bbq food this is it!! Not only was it the best tri-tip we've ever had, but the communication was awesome which is soooo nice when planning your wedding. Super helpful, so responsive, and just so sweet! One of my favorite vendors of all the vendors I hired!!! 😘

The El Vaquero BBQ team did an amazing job! Due to Covid, we had to postpone our June 2020 wedding to June 2021. Kelly was very helpful in rescheduling our event. We booked El Vaquero solely based on reviews and due to Covid, we were unable to do a formal tasting. We anticipated good food but were beyond pleased with the absolutely delicious food! Not only was the food out of this world, but the service was absolutely great! I highly recommend El Vaquero BBQ!

The easiest decision of our wedding planning was that we wanted BBQ for our wedding dinner. However, finding the perfect caterers that would grill everything fresh on-site at our venue was a challenge until our DJ (Kevin Wise) highly recommended El Vaquero to us. After sending an initial email, Kelley and Orlando called us to talk through our catering needs and they were always just a phone call away throughout the entire time we worked with them. Kelley and Orlando are extremely professional and caring. They went above and beyond the entire time. We went to a tasting on their ranch in Jefferson to finalize our menu, and on our wedding day they prepared a pound of meat per-guest and passed out tastes to everyone before dinner was served. After dinner, Kelley and Orlando stayed to party with us for a few dances into the night. Our guests are still raving about the food and are trying to think up ways to host their own dinner parties just so they can hire El Vaquero!

Delicious. I even dreamt about the food that night. I loved the salad and bread and beef. The beef was a huge hit. Our guests also said the beans were the best beans they’d ever had. We chose the option for two proteins (we also had chicken) and three sides. Kelly and Orlando included the utensils and plates so that the hot food was compatible and did not melt things. Parker, their son, was our chief; super nice and out going. Whoever laid out the buffet made a beautiful presentation. All in all I would highly recommend these people to cater any event.
