I had a deeply disappointing experience with Jennifer Vencill of Eglantine Rose Letterpress for my December 2024 wedding in New Orleans. From poor communication to missed deadlines to several critical items never being delivered, the experience was unprofessional and unreliable from start to finish. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone.

Communication was consistently poor—Jennifer frequently ignored emails, texts, and calls, and rarely followed up unless prompted multiple times by my planner. She relied heavily if not completely on others to push timelines and move things forward—timelines which she still failed to meet.

Despite requiring payment upfront, many critical items were either severely delayed or never delivered at all. For example, several day-of pieces including reception signage and guest information handouts we had discussed, designed and planned were not at the venue as expected, and we were only made aware of their absence on the day of the wedding. No backup plan or alternatives were provided, and as of today—nearly a year later—I am still waiting on outstanding items that were promised post-event.

While her design aesthetic initially showed promise, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and follow-through made the experience extremely stressful and disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone considering this vendor to proceed with clear expectations and contingency plans, if at all. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend her services.
