Alex and I cannot recommend Janie and her team enough! We chose to use Edin Events for the five-month planning, but after seeing how much stress and work Janie took off our plates for those five months, we wish we had her as our full-time planner! We are so thankful to have had her, as there are so many things that go into planning a wedding that we had never thought of! Janie took care of all communication with vendors, created our wedding timeline, created our wedding reception layout, coordinated all rentals, reminded us of payments, set up/decorated our reception, and helped calm our nerves, just to name a few of the things she did.

Leading up to our wedding day, so many people told me that not every wedding is perfect, things go wrong, and I need to keep that in mind when setting my expectations. In all honesty though, if something did go wrong, I had no idea about it. I did not worry about a single thing because I did not have to. Janie made us so comfortable that all “worries” went out the window because we knew she had everything under control. Our wedding day was better than we could have ever dreamed, which is in large part due to Janie and her team. She genuinely cares about you, what you want, and bringing your vision to life!

I opted for partial planning with Edin Events & Janie because as organized as I like to think I am, I've never had a wedding so I didn't know all the ins and outs to make the day how I envisioned in my head. Through working with Janie it was like she could see what I pictured in my brain and made it a reality. All of my weird requests she understood and was supportive through the whole process. We're 30 days past our wedding and everyone who came is still talking about what a great time they had and how beautiful everything was. The two ladies she had helping day of were also fantastic and helped everything run so smoothly. From now on whenever someone asks me what they need for their wedding I will 100% say they need Edin Events!!!! PS- I saw people preserving their bouquets during my planning process and Janie offered to do that as well. She really is the best at everything she does!

I started meeting Janie approximately six months before the wedding and to say that it was life changing would be an understatement. There were so many things that I was unaware or simply did not understand when planning a wedding that she stepped in and seamlessly took over. She kept everything on track and ensured that we would be ready to go on the wedding day. Each meeting was well thought out and extremely thorough. I felt exponentially less nervous after each session and just by knowing I had her with me every step of the way.

On the day of the wedding, Janie and her team went above and beyond. The kindness and gentleness that they each extended to me and the wedding party was unmatched. They were also the ultimate cheerleaders. I truly did not worry about a single thing day of because it was easy to have complete and total confidence in them. While the wedding day was the best day of my life, I genuinely recognize that this was due to the guidance, effort, and involvement of Janie and her team. There are not enough words to express how amazing my experience was, and I hope everyone has the same pleasure and privilege during such a wonderful (but also stressful) season in their life.

Janie is one of the kindest, funniest, most meticulous, and endlessly reliable people I’ve ever met. She is so good at her job, sometimes it feels like she can crawl inside your head and see exactly what you’re trying to describe. She is a professional to the umpteenth degree and a great judge of character in everyone she chooses to partner with. It’s very easy to trust her opinion on something because it’s so obvious how thoughtful she is about everything she does.

Janie creates a bite size structure out of the wedding planning process, breaking decisions down into their component pieces and building a strong foundation in the beginning to make way for a smooth process all the way through. My husband and I were wedding planning from out of state, but Janie made it feel like we were there every step of the way.

On our wedding day itself, Janie and her team were somehow everywhere at once. They made magic happen right in front of our eyes. My only regret is that Janie hasn’t actually been cloned yet so that she could have been both a wedding guest and the wedding planner. I hope that someday science makes that possible for us all! We are so grateful that we got to meet Janie through our wedding, she made it an amazing experience full of positive memories.

We cannot say enough kind things about Janie and Edin Events! From the get go she was positive, fun, efficient, had great suggestions and was so easy to work with. Even though we ultimately ended up cancelling our wedding celebration due to the arrival of our baby, Janie was able to make that as seamless as possible and was extremely gracious about that as well - kind of felt like a sad break up with someone cause we enjoyed working with her so much! We do plan to have a vow renewal in a few years and have every intention of hiring her back for that! 🙂

We were so pleased with Janie and her entire team. My daughter lives in another state and it would have been so difficult to coordinate everything without the help of Edin Events. While they were a tremendous help leading up to the wedding it can’t even begin to compare to the day of! I truly don’t know what we would have done without them.
