Would recommend this venue to everything they were very flexible and kind

We loved using Edgewood Farms as our wedding day Venue. We loved that everything was customizable in a DIY fashion. We felt we had so much flexibility with great space and options. We got married in the wooded area surrounded by beautiful foliage.

Joyce was so great to work with. She was communicative, was there when we needed her and was on top of things when they needed to be done. She had plenty of information on the property, examples of previous event set ups, referrals for rentals from a convenient company nearby with easy delivery and pick up, lists of what she expects of us and was just a call away if we needed her.

Joyce’s expectations from a couple are not out of the ordinary or extreme in any sense. She basically asks you leave the space the way you were got it.

I will say, a downside would be that the wedding party is expected to clean up/ be out of the “newer” cabin that was added for a get ready space by 8PM. With all of the Commotion from it being the big wedding day/ tight timeline of getting ready/getting hair done/make up, doing photos, Followed up to getting ready for the ceremony it makes it semi-difficult to get the cabin space cleared out by 8. We were in a position where we were able to come back the following day for clean up so I felt in that situation, allowing things to be left in there would have been nice however I do see why she would want it locked up earlier in the night.

It can get hot in the loft of the barn- we had an issue figuring out how to open the barn doors/upstairs windows prior to the start or dinner, however a quick phone call to Joyce and she was there to the rescue. I would just suggest you or someone in charge learns how to work these prior to guest arrival to air out the space. Once opened up the temps became much more comfortable!

A plan B rain plan was hard to envision/ we are so glad we didn’t have to execute our plan b- it’s doable but I wouldn’t say it was ideal.

Guests loved the outdoor space, playing yard games, starting a fire and swinging on the porch.

All I can say is that everything was beautiful and perfect. It is so helpful that you are able to use decorations that other brides have left. Joyce works so hard to ensure you have the best day possible!
